As a benefit for the French Navy, SUBTICS® equips all SSN and SSBN, modernized or on new construction, and has been chosen to equip next SSN generation (BARRACUDA type).
On export markets, it is selected to equip every new submarines of AGOSTA, SCORPENE and ANDRASTA types as well as to modernize commissioned submarines such as U209, A12 and A17.
On board SUBTICS® have demonstrated their outstanding level of performances among which a unique capability to detect and track, at a high speed, very distant tracks as well as to successfully launch several types of weapons.
Key features
Submarines are increasingly faced with various missions: littoral and blue-water operations, stand-alone missions or within a naval force. To meet all these operational requirements, SUBTICS® offers the following "sea proven" capabilities :
Highly efficient acoustic sensors including low frequency arrays and scalable data processing offering outstanding detection abilities of distant targets at high speed
Highly efficient non acoustic sensors on the surface and at periscope depth offering a high level of discretion
Complete communication facilities (from VLF to SHF), noiseless and fully integrated allowing submarine to interact in real time within a force
Data synthesis from every sensors (optical, optronic, R-ESM and C-ESM, radar)
Advanced, automatic and interactive target motion analysis

I worked with the malaysian SUBTICS. It's a very good combat system. SCORPENE submarines are french and spanish subs but the combat system is fully french from Thales Underwater Systems.

@FUCK SHIT Le premier sous-marin militaire a été construit en Espagne, dans le même chantier que le S-80, en 1885. Puisque en ces temps-là, comme aujourd'hui, l'Espagne se trouve sous la bote du sionisme mondial, le groupe d' ingenieurs on été obligés de s'exiler en Allemagne où ils on crée l'arme sous-marine Allemande. En l'Espagne actuelle, le groupe NAVANTIA est totalement infiltré par es mêmes sionistes. C'est ainsi que le coup de 1 200 000 000 de euros pour sa construction est totalement fantaisiste : Le groupe sioniste a volé des sommes colossales.

Torpedo launch transient will be heard loud and clean so will the torpedoes running, acoustic countermeasures will be dropped by ships with a high chance of escaping if done right. Missile will almost most certainly be shot down by ciws especially approaching from the side of a ship instead. Ship will also deploy a cloud of chaff. It's not that easy as it seems. Need to send multiple missiles/torpedoes to land any hits at all.

Ok Ok... all the problems related in one comment: - 1) first of all, you can bet your communications will fail if you go up against the manufacturer of those encripted communication systems - 2) On Most Scenarios, LOFAR sonar on submarines will have about 200km range detection, so unlike in the 80's, reliance on intel for gathering enemy fleet location will not be a tactical-level (to pinpoint enemy ships inside a general patrol area) but at an strategic level (fleets will be pinpointed at a general location since SSK can reliably find them on their own - 3) Surface Ships using active sonar? what is this? WW2? thats not a regular modern tactic - 4) For real, 2 ASW frigates + 1 LHD and no ASW Helicopter? it was so nice from enemy force just to sail straight line with no ASW umbrella of any kind. - 5) As general rule, most navys unable to afford ASW helicopters will not have LHD but a lot of speedboats with torps and/or missiles... units that are inexpensive and easy to replace and not worthy of a torpedo nor Missile attack from a submarine. - 6) nothing displayed on this presentation was particularely new

this is the future... mega nuclear subs are now obsolete but the problem is it's for sale to any one who can pay $500 mil. and that can lead to problems for US and allies. Even if French won't sell to just any one Russians are always ready to sell to anyone with cash.

tbh its just demostarction of how systems interacts with eachother. in the end of the day naval warfare is up to who has better intelligence. Sea is a big place and you probably dont have enough patroll aircraft to gather intelligence all over the place. Also if you dont know your enemy's propeller blade type and properties. you just gonna suck at TMA and cant even understand where they going at wich speed very well. Also military personal is trained to be perform at acceptable level at shit hits fan situation. Long story short dont be a edgy kid in comments section of a engineering product's advertaisment.
