After backing Marvel Zombies all in, I wonder if this would even be worth backing. I think there is such a thing as too much Zombicide.

All I own is marvel zombies. I’ll most likely get this cause I love DC and I’ll make up my own rules for combining both games to make marvel V.S DC

For me I may sell marvel zombies for DC if i do not love the marvel version . Marvel has zombie mode , but dc has a chance to make more thematic abominations.

Martian Manhunter is a shapeshifter, so he can adopt any shape he pleases. The tentacle-like extensions are probably him aggressively sprouting extra limbs to grab and devour people.

The game looks great! Can’t wait for the campaign to start and to see you guys do some gameplay!

This is awesome! I can’t wait to see these gameplays. I love DC and I wished for years they would do more to showcase more their characters to the general public like Marvel has. I sincerely hope DC United follows this.

Am I the only one bummed we didn’t get a full view of the dashboard? How it’s organized will give us a hint on how the equipment cards vs. bystanders will work. Also, it’s probably my lack of DC knowledge lore, but it felt like the tiles here were slightly less jam packed with comic references. Felt like every tile in MZ almost had specific references whereas it felt like only a third or so of the tiles here had comic references

Your boy is playing with these just like I will when this hits my table. Been waiting for them to do the DC thing and the DCeased story is amazing. Side note I wish my Marvel Zombicide was on my table already but it’s sitting in CA still for some reason. Not sure how CMON mess up that campaign for backers and the hitting retail before all backers but hey it happens.

Your son did a great job! I just recently introduced my boys to Lego Batman and for Christmas we bought them the new Batman Bat Cave where it's a giant Batman that unfolds. Is it confirmed that is the content of the core box? I counted 8 living heroes and 6 zombie heroes and Marvel Zombies boxes had 6 and 6. Maybe there are more heroes and less bystanders?

Hope you also showed the zombie heroes spawn cards. Does Superman have 5 toughness or more? I hope he has 6 because he's superman

I missed the rambling but loved the kid chaos and excitement.

in the Dceased storyline Black Canaray finds a Green Lantern ring, that makes her Green Canary. i just recieved my (almost) all in for Marvel Zombies. Another Zombicide is too early for me. I would have prefered if they had used the Massive Darkness ruleset with DC comics instead.

This feels like just a reskinned version of Marvel Zombies. I'm a fan of DC but very hard to get excited for a copy-paste of another game, specially with the extremely high price point.

It's definitely the same system, I think the only reason to get this if you already have marvel zombies, is if you just want more for the sake of more or if you want the DC stuff. But it's certainly not essential.

I hope they make a standee version for the horde with 9 tiles. I dont need too many zombie minis

I presume you can mix with marvel zombicide with no issue?

I was concerned since they're opposing licenses that they wouldn't be compatible, but judging from the hero cards, they certainly seem to be.

Cool unboxing…the obvious question is how does it compare to marvel zombies other than whether you are a marvel or dc person. In general, the dc ip is a little more oriented to a more mature audience. I wonder if if translates to the Zombicide franchise which marvel zombies translated so well to.

🤣 Honestly I'm tempted because Batman and his Rogues gallery are my favorites too. Luckily I only have Marvel as my only Zombicide so far, so I don't feel too terrible about the temptation.

They look like almost the exact same tiles with Stark Industries changed for Wayne Enterprises 😄 I'm a bigger DC fan, but likely passing since I just got my MZ in. It's definitely normally Black Canary. Never heard of Green Canary

You really need to get a dedicated camera for showing minitures at this point. That was its in focus and they can spin on a turntable. @boardgameco

@@KANDwrx it's sad really...MZ was much grittier. This here looks like the art from the animated Batman tv shows from the late 90s. I'm sure it has its fans but I'm not one of them!

Lex luthor's first ability seems really weak. You can trade 2 power for a free move or attack action, but isnt a single power up action get you 2? So his ability is you can donate a turn to a future turn? That feels weak

No superman hero in the core box? I bet there's going to be a 2nd core box (like the xmen box) that has Superman as a hero.

Can you ask CMON to increase the difficulty of the game with 4-7 toughness only abominations. Add more spawns. X-Men resistance is very easy game which makes it boring. 3 toughness abominations are easy kills

you’re the only person i’ve seen comment that Xmen is easy. everyone else i’ve noticed says it’s hard, much harder than playing as zombies or other Zombicides

@@KANDwrx xmen is way easier than zombie mode. A lot of people actually said that. There is no consequence if you have max power. In zombie mode, you can only move or devour attack with max hunger. So your max dice is just until 3 hunger. You have more control with hero mode. Walkers also dont shoot you with sidearms. You can also kill 5 toughness abomination easily. Certain heroes can kill 5 toughness abominations even without buffs. Try hawkeye with 2+ accuracy. 3 toughness abominations are easy kill

Thanks for great unboxing. Wish they would sell the zombified heroes in separate box as not interested in them. Any I have I will just try to sell or get rid of.

Blame a kid, really? It's a preview, the minis are visible enough to have a decent look at them. The rest of it, details included, will be shown during the campaign. We ALL see the kid is excited but, as grown ups, we are ok to lose some precision as a trade off for the kid to be having fun. It's ok to have that tought for a second, it's something else to write it as a comment....
