Nevada alumni... All stats aside, I thought playing in SLC's high altitude (same as Reno) would be a big advantage for us. We could beat them them by being more physical and wear them out. Much respect to Dayton. They just wanted it more and they weren't going to let a 17-point deficit stop them.

Thanks to the Nevada collapse, my bracket only has 1 error (Thanks BYU). The Dayton win was never in doubt. I was sweating bullets seeing the score of this game. Thanks for the all time choke Nevada.

I also picked BYU... they played like a juco team shooting about 8% worse than they had during the season and giving up about twice as many off rebounds as normal. Pretty pathetic.

Give Dayton credit for coming back

Dayton was as good over the last part of the 2nd as they were bad over the last part of the 1st, and vice versa for Nevada. It's been that kind of year. I have lost count of how many times a 20 point lead evaporated this season.

That was HORRENDOUS coaching in the final 8 by Nevada. RUN THE CLOCK ON EVERY POSSESSION!! Pass it around and find the easy looks.

Steve Alford couldn't manage a little league team with a lead,5 minutes and a 16 point lead,his team comes down throwing up threes, turning it over and he sits on his hands hoping something is going to change. Here's an idea,go to the basket, especially considering their big men were already strapped with foul trouble 🤔. I hope these kids follow Baker's lead and transfer.

Nevada’s cold stretch in the 2H was so due. So many points off of mid ranges, you just can’t rely on that. Brea is a dawg

I really think that there has to be some point where they replace the net. The ball is consistently getting stuck causing the Nevada players to have to burn extra jumps and energy just to retrieve it. It's not a huge advantage but it's something that should've been addressed in the biggest college basketball tournament of the year.

To all of you who wonder how Nevada could choke that much-Dayton’s opponents did that all season. The first time was vs LSU in Charleston. Down 60-45 with 9:07 to go and came to life, hitting almost every shot in that 9 minutes while LSU bombed out and lost. I LOVED seeing that in person!

Watching from home I almost turned off the TV in disgust. The Flyers were just horrible and then Brea hit a 3, Holmes made a 3 point play, Brea made a couple more 3s or so it seemed. Brea was cold as ice. What a player he is!
