Honestly with newborn babies its really hard to have a routine (due to sleeping, illness, etc). One of the biggest things after having kids that I had to embrace was just going with the flow. You don’t look all over the place, you are doing great!!

Fixing the yard when you're renting long-term is worth it! Especially, growing grass is super easy once the soil is good.

Highly recommend plain beeswax candles! They give off a very subtle honey scent with a warm glow, and are clean/nontoxic (:

Once the grass grows in you will see a huge difference. Way less mud. It took our grass a few weeks to grow in and it’s so nice because there’s no mud. ❤

Love the baby book!If you find it’s hard to keep up with, the short years baby books have been amazing for me (I’ve got 2 kiddos now) because it’s all digital and they print and send the pages to you to add to the baby books. It’s a lifesaver as you get busier. I use it as a photo album too. Your kiddo will love looking at their baby book with you. 🥺🥰

Living in an area that gets very warm in summer would rather leave trees as is for shade rather than trim for more light - and the heat that comes with it.

I also LOVE sitting on the floor lol!

It's possible to suggest with your landlord a french drain? That helped us a ton in our yard with lower sloping spots
