He said he recorded this from the car radio back in the 90s, and Shazam and neither any music recognition application recognize this song. This song was a mystery for 3 years, and people theorized it was a PSA song (but this theory turned out to be wrong). The identity of this song and the full song were found in mid-2023.
they were a pretty popular group too.. that’s crazy that they somehow had a song slip away and get lost. they charted on the uk and swedish charts often

@@erik_erikson this wasn't popular to begin with which might be the reason for it's dissapearance. old songs fade out but if they were popular there's always gonna be a preserved instance of it or a record and some group of people are always bound to remember it and show it to they're younger ones. we for sure don't give a shit about gregorian chant but it's been preserved because most people in it's time frame did. makes you wonder how many songs had the same fate as this one and just happen to be in someones hard drive

In fact it is logical. If the song is good, someone who likes it would save it on some cassette or recorder, making them the parts that are later searched for as "lost media", while there are thousands of songs that are lost but why weren't they even that good for that someone would make an effort to save it Sorry if my English is grammatically incorrect, it's my second language :c

Even if it is, Internet and computers in the 90s was still sorta slow rising, so some people are understandably surprised when they hear a song from this decade or the 80s talk about it. Not really. people have been writing about the use and impact of computers for a while. Listen to 'Computer Madness' by Vixen, from around 1984, or Tech-No-Logical World by Patrick Cowley from 1982.

@@SpookyTheTale dayeen is a duo of singer-songwriters. dayeene AND denniz wrote "Is This Love?" together, and then denniz was also the producer for "Is This Love?", meaning he was the sole one who programmed the bass, the drums, the synths, and the effects on the vocals like the delay and reverb. he did this same thing for songs like "I Want U Back" for *NSYNC & "Backstreet's Back" by the backstreet boys
