I use to say jeer-a-deli until I heard the proper way in a tv commercial of theirs… Sometimes I still slip and say Jeer instead of Gear…never heard his way though Lolll

Great trick with the parchment paper with sugar cookies to avoid using flour. Ive been using that trick for years . preserve the scraps without over flouring the dough 👍

I just randomly clicked on your video and I was pleasantly surprised! Very interesting to see what goes into something like a cookie. Most people, me included just assume you just whip up a batch willy-nilly. I never realised how labor intensive they really are!!! I now have a new appreciation for your profession and understand why good baked pastries and goods cost what they do. Great job and presentation on the video and thanks for sharing 👍

That was great, so wanna try the cookies with that special Brazilian center - man that looks good and you are Xtra handsome - just saying as a Mom - LOL. We're recently retired biz owners of 40 yrs it's the Sundays and OT that get you somewhere but sooner or later make the decorators have their supplies ready to go so it's not up to you. Our biggest regret was working so hard. Thank you for the vid!

There's a handmade candy shop down the street for me and the owner and only employee is this big buff Jim dude covered in tattoos. I went in soon after they open and he said he just loves candy and is happy as can be making, eating and selling candy.

How do you know how much to make. I feel like bakeries never sell fully out. They make too much or too little. How can you tell ?

I'm going to be honest. I still haven't figured it out. That's a bakery's biggest problem. You get a better sense of it once you do it long enough, though. You'll usually have about the same sales every day. You start to learn your shop and your sales.

I stopped with the room temp butter and eggs because in my mind, the eggs and butter get cold again when I put the batter in the fridge for 24+ hours 🤷🏻‍♀️
