Welcome to the official home of LifeofLay on KZread! 💯
Hey queens and kings, this channel will provide viewers and subscribers with a raw unfiltered picture of my life as a mother, girlfriend, social worker, educator, and a snapshot into my pregnancy journey.
➡️ My videos tend to have a relaxing pace, similar to life itself. My vlogs show you pieces of how I live and what I enjoy… and sometimes I show you the cool things I buy (like my electric car, and the Kia EV6). Other times I post funny vlogs where I’m hanging out with friends or doing fun stuff!
I also tell you different stories about my life. Having experienced a lot, traveled to different places, and done many different things, I have a lot of interesting stories to share with you for your learning and enjoyment. I will explore life lessons into empowerment, uplifting, success, resiliency, and healing from trauma.
➡️ I will bring you along with me on my journey of being in a relationship with a tree-hugging meditating vegan and second-time mommy.
So, be sure to subscribe and hit the bell to never miss a LifeofLay video! 🔔

Not having a laptop is wild! Glad they got you squared away. Does your agency have a system where all the paperwork is completed and uploaded? That’s what we have here in Michigan. No need to print anything

Yes, we just went fully electronic. We are all remote since Covid, so the laptops definitely came in handy now. I am sooo happy!

You need to have at least a bachelors in social work depending what you want to do. If you want to become a licensed clinical social worker you have you get your MSW and pass the exam.

It’s different for each state and exactly what you want to do. I have a masters in social work, most jobs in California require you to at least have a masters for social work jobs. A ACSW (associate clinical social worker) or LCSW (licensed clinical social worker), is what is required for any jobs with higher pay and Couseling.

@@LeanaVanieceoh wow! I didn’t know in California you had to have your masters for social work jobs. I live in Kentucky and here at least you have to have your bachelors.

Do you drive your own car around or the company car?

Most of the time you drive your own car and get reimbursed for mileage. Some agencies have cars to drive. In my area the cars are usually only available for State workers.

I drive my own car to work, if you work for a state, county, or federal agency they have cars you can drive, but I still drove my car because I like to go home after I see my clients, rather then driving back to the job to change cars. Sometimes you are closer to your house when your shift ends.

I’m confused, aren’t foster parents responsible for getting the kids school supplies and driving them to and back school ?
