I went back to college for my Spring Semester today and I am 5 weeks post op from my most recent spinal fusion revision surgery (December 2019). In Fall 2018, I had to take the entire semester off due to one of the surgeries I had in September 2018, but I was determined to not fall behind any more than I already am on my college journey.

Sarah Johnson at the beginning its normal to be a little nervous more so the first week but as you get to know each other it gets better.

Hello, Sarah! I'm kyla, and I am a scoliosis patient in Korea, and I'm about to have surgery. I've seen all your surgery vlogs so far. I think You've been through a lot of hard times. really tough..time..😭 You are the strongest person in the world.! I'm very careful, but I think you were in a lot of pain after the surgery.. Are you okay now? And you started pt(maybe..?), do u feel better if you exercise?? I'm really sorry about my poor English.🙏😭 +I really want you to be healthier and happier every single day.!😍 - From a your Korean big fan.

Hi Kyla!!! Wow all the way from Korea, that is awesome you found my videos 😊 Yes, I was in a lot of pain after surgery, but I have other health issues and my body has always given me trouble since I was young, so maybe it’s just a “me” problem haha. I’m doing a lot better now, I just started my last year of college. I chose not to do PT this time around; I’m very active and already know what things to work on (shoulder blades, core strength, balance). I definitely recommend PT though! Yes, I feel better if I exercise. Your English is great! Good luck and let me know how your surgery goes

There is a Philips memorial building. I believe renovations were done and there’s just a small piece of the original building left where administrators are located.
