My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!❤❤❤HES ALL I NEED!!!✝✝✝✝✝✝🙏🙏🙏

My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE!

This is a powerful message , Pastor Joel just be careful because this leads people to think they caused their illness/diagnosis and aren’t praying enough to allow GOD to help them. That’s not the case. GOD allows illness and death, that’s part of his plan. To be sick is not a failure. I do LUV you Pastor Joel. One of the most positive people on this planet.

This was such a valuable talk today. GREAT things to think about. SO important. All the crazy stuff going on in our world all around us today would cease if everyone would listen to the wisdom of this talk today. But despite what anyone around us does, we can create good in our life, our space, with our part, drawing close to God, seeking Him & doing our best to live His Way.... the better way. "It is well with my soul." Amen. I'm so THANKFUL for this ministry. God used it to lift my life out of a pit of destruction, from childhood abuse followed up by being abused as an adult, & learning dysfunction, & on & on. I love the Way of Jesus. And this ministry helped me understand it in a whole new way, with a lot that had been missing from all I heard about Christianity... & I saw God miraculously confirm He wanted me to receive this positive message. It has made my life exponentially better, despite still having problems. I believe all God's promises & all the good that is to come. Thanks! Blessings everybody. Love!

I realized I am deeply hurt, by extreme harm- with nowhere to go with it but God... I like this idea of the power of our focus. I'm focusing on God, & His Way & His promises. Every time the hurt rises, I bring it to God & put thoughts on how I choose His Way. Best of all, He promises beauty for ashes. Thank you Lord. These sermons help; me survive.

Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Father God it is you that gives me the strength to keep going. I praise you Father even as I fear homelessness please continue to give me strength.

I relate to what Paul shared about the pain in his side. It's our mind that makes things so much worse. I can't imagine if I made a rash decision to remove an organ!!!!! I'm so grateful to the doctor who told me it wasn't that it's this! And I healed just not worrying anymore - after I got a result that wasn't so big. I stop reading WEBMD because it just takes you to the worse situation. I'm trying to stay away from anything that makes it worse and makes me feel fearful. Amen to each of you. You are blessed and a blessing and I can't wait to read the book. God Bless!

Looking at the face of both pastor Joel and Dr. Paul, both of you are similiar, really the blood brother.

Beauty for ashes. Amen. One day I pleaded to Jesus to understand cruel mistreatment, & He gave me a view of what can happen in this world- all these people, struggling with different levels of maturity, & all messing up as well, with sin banging into sin banging into sin, from all directions. It made me realize the futility to believe 'fight' & 'anger' is a reasonable response. That would be just adding to the tangled mess. So often people project their internal issues & failure to be filled with the Way of Jesus, so they misunderstand, mistreat, misjudge, & are not fair to you. I thought if I worked to get healthy, everything would be great, but realized, that kind of vision involved hope of how things would go with other people.... which involves OTHER people. I had a heartfelt experience listening today. It was just one more step in saying "Amen. I want to just choose the Way of Jesus," rather than be entangled in all the messes everywhere caused by all the sin of this fallen world, & injured people, & people with mistaken opinions & misunderstandings, & evil, etc, etc. This was a great message today. Thanks.

Another quote from the talk: "Not trying to control things I cannot control." I learned in family support groups years ago the serenity prayer, which I've begun praying again in recent times, to be free from harmful entanglement with wrong things around me in this world: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, & the wisdom to know the difference." Blessings to everyone. We can just do our part, the best we can, with what we've got, to make this world a better place. PEACE man. (A 70s/ 80s child). Love wins!

There must be a price, otherwise the holy Way & law of God is not upheld. Jesus' sacrifice allowed LOVE to still stand, while forgiving evil / sin / harm at the same time.
