This leg of the trip was a doozy! I was led astray by the internet when I left Hogsback, and it took me to Komani via the scenic shortcut-through 50km of gravel road! I was terrified my car was going to give up, it took me hours because I was driving an average of 14km/h, and I was so close to tears I had to turn the road trip playlist off and just feel sorry for myself. The treachery I was exposed to this day was something I never want to experience again, but at least the view was pretty! By the time I got into Komani, I just wanted to get to my accommodation and sleep (which I did). I woke bright and early the next morning and immediately took my car in to SupaQuick to have my suspension and wheel alignment checked, but luckily all was still okay. I drove around to get some footage of Komani before setting off day 3 on my longest stretch of the whole trip!
