Thanks for starting the new season so quickly i was loveing the game but in the end it seemed to easy. Fingers crossed you dont get mugged by any bronze age raiders early on 😁

Don't forget to put the gates in right this time. Because you put them in backwards you kept losing people to raiders because they gather behind a gate in a raid. Since it was backward they gathered outside the walls.

Looking around at your surroundings I noticed what looked to be a good flat spot close to your camp. You go over it a few times. It is the pine covered area off the lake at 44:00. It could be close enough to use as a farming base later on, while you go industrial with your starting location. Might be a good idea since buildable area seems to be less on this map. Could be risky dividing up, but you could make up for that by having an overall higher pop total. Doing a multi-base build on Northlands Hardcore, would be the ballsiest thing out yet for this game on KZread, which would be cool as heck. Whatever you choose, I am going to enjoy watching! Thanks for coming back to this for another season!

17:02 I really like that the crafters cycle through all of the 'wants' rather than doing all the knives, then all the spears, and then all the harpoons; it allows for the village to have at least a couple of each tool to get going with. Nice one devs. cheers.

Glad you picked the Northlands. Seems like hardcore is going to be a good test. Maybe not so much hard off the get go. But just a lot of patience.

You can set a large hunting work area around your camp to automatically hunt any animal that comes close to the village. It doesn't seem to target very dangerous animals.

Nice...Skye has gone hardcore........with a new Dawn of Man series. Almost caught up with this series. Now I need to get caught up with the new Surviving Mars series,and Frostpunk series. EDIT: This series needs more Primitive Skye commentary.

You built 3 skins dryers. You should build two more to get the knowledge point. Also easy to build would be a campfire, four more wood storage, and four more stone storage areas.

I don't think you noticed but clothes sell for 10 at the traders, and you can make 2 with one dry skin might be a good way to get the basic essentials with the traiders, or the tecnologies if you got plenty!

Great start Skye, can you try making 1 sling to get a knowledge point for it. Never actually played the game so i'm not sure if that will work try not to put off the morale for to long though. Gratz however i like it so far.

I like how the animals fall into the world after you've exhausted their resources, very realistic 😂 though if you think about it the animals are going back into the earth to fertilize some more trees and crops 🤔😁

Maybe you should set the clothes limit to 125% because they seem to degenerate and break over time just like tools it would explain why last series they sometimes complain about warm clothes even though they had enough 5 minutes before so having spare clothes would probably be good

It would also cover sudden groups that come in. Not to mention the warm clothes sell wicked good till the metal age, and you make 2 per dry skin.

They need an intermediate level of difficulty where things are harder but you can still pause.

Most games are better on hard mode. I find I can do almost every game in normal with very little trouble. The fun comes with more difficulty.

I use 'normal' first time as my training take. Hardcore is like real battle vs training exercises. I never do 'easy' ever. Not even on Warhammer Dawn of War The irony of the name I note but a very hard game first time on 'normal'. 'Easy'? It's no challenge even in training usually: I prefer to be defeated a few times before 'learning' how to win. If I can win from the start without some clear good luck I consider the game a bore. It is the challenge I like! Most of my friends think I am crazy and love playing in 'God Mode'. Not for me, I don't need personal reinforcement via a game that insults my intelligence and just sucks up to me. I LIKE the struggle, not the winning! *'Life is not about the destination (death) it is about the journey there!'*

In any age 5 ppl can hunt any animal without loosing anyone maybe 6 in the first just to be safe. limit please learn from your last settlement. like once a season you should do big hunt until u start farming

Realize you're on Ep. 2 but, dogs would also help defend against predators, which are far more aggressive in this play-thru.

No pause game suites you... no offence :) otherwise its looong pauses and gogogo max speed :D thanks for uploads 10/10 will buy this game

once you've logged 178hrs in the game, then watch skye play it, one has a habit of cringing as he swings a new building around and then cant decide which one of the 60 locations to put it even when there is only one spot to put it in. he just has to make you squeal like a little school girl, yur a bastard there bye, but I'll buy ya' a beer the next time I sees ya'z..........

Kill the bear cubs and when the parents die there gone.... at least in theory :p

The only mechanic I don't much care for is the dog... everything else needs some sort of effort, but the dog just appears. I hope they add wolves to the game and you have to train a pup. Hahah... I was typing this just as you mentioned wolves... cheers for the vid mate.

I wonder if you could get an athiest society to the end of the tech tree, never researching any of the religion stuff.

Skye, please, look at the notifications on screen, or at least acknowledge their existence. I don't know how important are traders in this game, but you missed one.
