American-Nigerian singer-songwriter Davido sits down with Zane Lowe for an in-depth conversation on the pursuit of elevating his art on his fourth studio album, 'Timeless'.
Davido mentions completely scrapping his regular process and starting fresh with new collaborators in order to create a timeless record that could be listened to for decades. He shares the story of establishing his name in Lagos, Nigeria and developing from an engineer into an artist. Davido also shares his thoughts on the rise of African music around the globe, and his intention for his first annual A.W.A.Y. Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.
