Seems like it was yesterday and I'm 18 driving my black split roof 76 Gran Torino 4 onthe floor and worked down to the Cam.!... Couldn't wait to get home and watch Starsky & Hutch.! I wish I could be wisked back in time to the 70's again where the music of Good will, love and hope for the future lived. David Souls voice and lyrics take me back and I am forever grateful.

Like so many others, I just learned of his death earlier today. But I remember him solely as an actor. I had NO IDEA that he was a singer and sang this incredibly important song from my childhood! This song accompanied me through more heartaches and breakups than I care to recall. But it was the song that was my everpresent companion. Thanks, David, for sharing your talent with the world. RIP. 😢

I'm 52. Had 3 older sisters. One loved David Cassidy, one David Essex/ David soul the younger bay city rollers. This was a great song and a great era. People were real and no sign of me me me, more more more, money money money. That's where we've all gone wrong

Definitely brings back good memories of the 70s when David sang this song and it played on all the radio stations. I was just out of nursing school. I wish he had recorded more big hits, he had a wonderful tenor voice. I pleasure to switch him sing it again.

I heard about David's passing coming home this evening . We had been out to eat an early dinner and I turned on my phone and heard it from a friend. I'm just devastated. Prayers going to his family, friends, Paul Micheal Glaser and all of his many, many fans. Thank you David for leaving us with this beautiful music and with your acting abilities. Never missed Starsky and Hutch as a girl in her early teens and yes I have this lp. Also, have the DVD's of S& H.
