You are basically what you eat, what you drink, what you breathe and last but not least, what you think. Take a good care of these four inputs, I promise, they take a good care of your life.

For those who struggle to transition to plant based from a heavy meat diet, you may need to cleanse your colon first. I transitioned to plant based 12 years ago by first eating 100% raw fruits and vegetables for a month, and it was the most cleansing and revitalizing experience of my life. When I reintroduced cook food, I did it slowly and I paid close attention to each whole plant based food and how it made me feel. I can eat any whole plant based food now, but processed foods like bread and pasta I avoid. They give me gas and bloating. Another option is to cleanse with a juice fast, where you juice raw fruits and vegetables and drink juice all day, allowing no solid food for days or weeks on end. This is an even more powerful form of cleansing but it’s not easy at all. You have to drink minimally a gallon (4 liters) of fresh juice daily. The juice fast is enjoyable because you feel light and super energized, but it’s not easy. Longest I’ve lasted on a juice fast is 7 days because life always gets in the way. I just wanted to share this info because I hear a lot of people complaining that they can’t transition to plant based. Believe me, you will be SHOCKED at how much stuff comes out of you into the toilet during a raw food or juice cleanse. When they say everyone has 12-15 meals backed up in their colon, I think that’s underestimating in many cases. But once you get that serpent out of your colon, you will find a plant based diet very enjoyable because you will actually absorb the nutrients finally. I hope this info helps someone like it helped me.

@@joejacksonmad yeah, you gotta be careful if you’re diabetic or prediabetic and focus on vegetables juices mainly. Fruit juice would create a problem. But for everyone else without insulin resistance issues, fruit juice is fair game. But your body thrives on glucose, so even diabetics can eventually embrace the fruit once they’ve cleared out the intramyocellular lipids causing their insulin resistance and resolving their diabetes.

@@joejacksonmad Yeah I consumed a lot of fruit and veg after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and thought I was doing my body a great service. However it wasn't changing my diagnosis so I changed to keto diet. I cut out all sugars including fruit, pasta and potatoes and reversed my condition quite rapidly and the diabetes group I was attending were very impressed. You would think that they would take up what I did wouldn't you?... well no, they carried on with whatever the official health advice told them would be best. But we're all different and on the Ken Berry channel there's a woman who went strictly carnivore for 13 years and looks healthy, strong and fit. In fact she looks a lot younger than when she started.

Lots of controversy on the internet, but the scientific research on the benefits of a plant based diet is overwhelming. Pay particular attention to the credentials of those providing the recommendations and the journals where such research is reported. Here, in the instance of David Sinclair, an acclaimed professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School.

How about spices that are built into Chipotle Salsa? I found that a bake potato has polyphenols? I fry the vegetables and fruits on the stove in virgin olive oil. Does it matter how you cook it? I use fruits and vegetables such as a Granny Smith Apple which are high in polyphenols, broccoli squash, organic bell peppers red and green because they are of color some nuts that are ok to eat: walnuts, almonds and pecans. But no meet or dairy but my problem is sugar and that is in everything including pineapple juice and the fruit yogurt that has 27 Grams of sugar. But now I've learned about the Bravo Yogurt already made in the store but the store doesn't carry it. I will use pepper but not salt unless it's in something. Thank you for the video.

Life is not always all or nothing. You can aim to eat a lot of / more vegetables with some meat/ fish / dairy on the side. There is a very interesting channel called nutrition made simple where Gil (the KZreadr) looks at the research and explain things simply. He’s not there for controversy (I hate food wars and the persons who wants to make us scare of xyz : it’s not a scientific approach), not he digs ONE study but he’s all in the nuances and look at a broader range of studies and explains how to interpret it (because sometimes you can have false conclusions). Some people prefer to go and eat only plant based some don’t but then it doesn’t mean that your only choice is to be a heavy carnivore eating meat all day 😊 If you already try to eat more and more veggies, it’s a way to better health. And maybe indeed you body needs some nutrients found in meat. But the problem is that meat has benefits but also downsides (saturated fats) thus we need to eat a variety of things. A little bit of everything. And keto or vegan : we need to avoid junk food 😊 and eat whole foods. That could be tricky when you didn’t learn how to cook simple nutritionally meals. Have a nice day.

You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health. Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life. Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world. Fast food and sugary drinks are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity. Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly. Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer. Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game. A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun. Every city should be a bicycle city. This cardiologist said no red meat ,but chicken and fish 3 x week is ok. No sugar, no oils, but the intermittent fasting really helped me. It took 3 weeks, and then all cravings were gone. I take supplements and have tons of energy. I look at eating now as feeding my microbes because I used to suffer so badly from gastritis. I wasn't getting enough B12, D3, and K2,Magnesium Dr Carolyn Dean REMAG. I began incorporating nuts, cranberries, salads, and getting those greens and avacados . I still have bread, but I make it myself, sourdough though. I don't restrict anything if I really want it, although I choose Stevia instead.

Sorry, but the data most certainly does not show it. Vegan & vegetarian diets may coincide with populations not having very much to eat... and yes starving yourself will make you live longer. Same as being cold perpetually. But the effect is marginal. In addition there are lots of plants with toxic chemicals (lectins) that really aren't very good for you.

B12 and b9 are key to longevity. Vegetarians age faster. Dont be deceived once again. Avoid fructose and glucose and increase nitric oxide and you can reverse aging. Catalase is also jmportant.

Sorry, but the evidence for pure carnivore as the healthiest diet is mounting every day. I was a vegetarian for five years. During that entire time, I never felt as good as I have in two months eating carnivore. At 59, I feel like I discovered the fountain of youth.

Let's compare top vegan influences like this guy and someone like Michael Greger to top carnivore/keto guys, like Anthony Chaffee, Ken Berry, Shawn Baker, etc. one group looks strong and healthy, while the other one looks sick and frail... guess which is which?

Two questions: 1. Do you know for a fact that they ARE sick and frail? He said he uses his brain and fingers more than other parts of his body. Maybe he just needs to work out a little. 2. Does your observation predict longevity, which is the subject of this video? Skinny people seem to outlive fuller-bodied ones. Studies about Calorie-restricted diets done with lab animals support this, too.

The general over all health of people has declined the last few decades. Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences. There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese. What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications. Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks. Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods. Being thin is a sign of good health. Being over weight or obese is a sign of bad health. Poor diet, lack of exercise and obesity are contributing to high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

How do sugary drinks cause heart disease? It's high fat diet that contributes to it, not sugar.
