Buddy is simply the man. Style, swagger, timeless talent. Forever jealous and grateful.
Such a nice guy, I was lucky to meet him at his club in Chicago last september. He is 86 now and still full of life.

He's 85 as I write this. He will be 86 on July 30, 2022.
Saw him live here in Nashville last year, & mam oh man was he AWESOME!@
This interview makes me love and respect Buddy even more now. Look how badly he wanted it from such an early age! Thank you for everything, man! You're a hero!
Have been to Buddy’s club in Chicago many times; a marvellous place with marvellous people playing there - above all, Buddy Guy. And he is such a nice chap, too.
Love his music of course but I also love his personality & smile!! GOAT
Saw him in New Jersey a few years back... powerful performer.
I saw him in Portland at the Roseland in '06. I had no idea I was checking off a bucket list item for myself 15 years early. What and utterly astonishing performer and true living legend.
Buddy is the artists' artist. A great man who came before the likes o Clapton, Page, Beck, Richards and Billy G. A talent beyond description. Go Buddy GO!

2022 - still rocking! Saw his excellency in Seattle. 😎
Love this! Watching in 2019. Just saw Buddy Guy in concert in Flagstaff AZ. I love that this interview is just about good times and good music instead of promoting something. Long live the blues and rock and roll
Buddy Guy,seem him at BluesFest in Philly, sadly, no longer running, he was awesome, one of the legends of the Blues!, Many of the greats have passed away, who’s gonna fill their shoes???
That show would've been better if Buddy played for the entire hour.
Man that is one classy cat right there .Shiiiiiiiiiif. Buddy Guy the man.
The Man of the Blues ~ Mr. Buddy Guy !
Master Buddy Blues Guy ❤
Buddy Guy did not know at the time that the British invasion was all about raw power and Buddy Guy had that by the trackloads...his voice is very strong and his guitar tone is just hard and heavy WITHOUT OVERDRIVE....his is just like a bolt of lightning....very hard to see and impossible to lay hands on.
Buddy Guy says what was I doing...... everything man everything..... if it wasn't for Buddy Guy everything else just wouldn't have happened thank you mr. Master Buddy Guy
Buddy Guy, the best!!!!
Nice video I miss Letterman
GREAT NITE !
god i miss the late show with letterman :/
Anyone who knows I said knows his genre of music and doesn’t like Buddy doesn’t know the blues. He influenced Jim the stones and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Stevie said no Buddy no Stevie, wow
❤

No one could play like Hendrix. No one could Sing and PLAY like Buddy Guy.

yes, Buddy's singing is so underrated or overshadowed by his own guitar playing seemingly. Dude's voice IS the blues, period.
I don't know about hall but my favorite thing about buddy guy is jimi hendrix

whoa cowboy, grab the reins!! U can't be serious, right?
Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Eric Gales, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr … Do ya think Buddy had any influence on these Living Legends…
Six time Grammy winner and guitar legend Buddy Guy spoke with us in a very entertaining interview back in 2001. We covered some amazing topics, including the release of Sweet Tea, exploring Mississippi, bringing in new fans, and creating new music! kzread.info?video_id=a1qhEYP7b9A
