David Hubel, MD interviewed by Roy C. Selby, MD

Dr. Hubel describes his training which included work with Cone, Elvidge, Jasper and Penfield. He discusses studies of microelectrode recordings of single cortical neurons, EEG, and sleep. He describes collaboration with Thorsen Wiesel that led to them winning a Nobel Prize in 1981 for their work regarding visual physiology and the effects of visual deprivation.
