Though I switched fields and did not get to do a residency at BNI, I spent 6 mos there during my senior medical school year, working with him clinically and doing research. That was in 1984, and still today nearly 40 years later I cannot tell you how much Dr Spetzler meant to me. I followed his career as I traveled mine. I wish till this day that I had not made the fatal decision not to complete my residency with him at BNI. May God bless you always here and ever after.

At 13:05 how does shutting off the "river", flood the "rice paddies" if the flow itself is blocked off completely?
