Well There are other ways to rebalance yourself other than imagining a powerful being that determines your life. No one really cares about others theistic belief system, created by men who are not you and who don’t know your experiences or responses to your personal events. Goggins is asking us to examine how we live and if we wish to abandon our counter productive ideation. Do people who love god because they love the creator of the universe or is it fear of arousing the anger of a being who can destroy you?

David you were chosen by GOD as a messenger. There are so many people that suffered like you but not many every get to live glorious and share there message of hope. I can totally identify with you because I had a very similar childhood and that drove me to the streets and then I became an addict. I ended up in a 12 step program and I was able to free my self from the bondage of my past. There steps helped me look deep inside and find out what I am am and what I am not. I have been doing this 31 years now and I have the opportunity to help people free themselves from there past through the 12 steps. We are survivors of the same war. Thank you for your service in all aspects. God bless you my brother.

So, I cried when he was talking about his abuse and his abuser. My husband had a very similar life, a very abusive mother and his father abandoned him. We have been married for 17 years now and the struggle is real! He brought all those demons with him to our marriage (no physical abuse. Just constant fights). And when David said: every hour on my way to see my father I went back to my 8 year old self.... gosh, that hit me! 💔 I see that little boy in my husband's face all the time. Just wanting love and admiration. I pray to God he will find a way to defeat that huge demon in his mind!

David Goggins is such a treasure and I cannot, truly cannot, believe how much he has mentally helped me. I listen to him Non-Stop throughout the day, and I mean Non-Stop, because I have to just keep him in my noggin until my noggin totally gets it. He is my hero and so also is Jordan Peterson. Absolutely great interview. Oh, I love so much to watch two men talk about very very personal things. That is quite rare to see and is a gift so thank you for that. And yes, the world is a better place with David Goggins and Jordan Peterson. We so desperately need this right now and I know you have helped so very very many people in all different aspects of their lives. You are one tough mother f*****. And this community of Goggins' followers... I remember reading this story of someone from Africa who was too fat to run so he instead walked the distance of a marathon. (my spine is twisted, I also can't run) I read it in a comment section like 2 years ago. Since then I've done that too as well as many more challenges. It's absolutely incredible. Thank you David Goggins and everyone interviewing him. I'm so lucky to have found you and to be part of this community. Thank you all!!!

In an era where a black man's failure is attributed to "systemic racism", it's a breath of fresh air to see and hear from someone like David Goggins. Have been feeling like absolutely crap recently but hearing his story just completely changed my perspective. God truly brought him into this world to make this world a much better place.

Tom is possibly the most connected, present and powerful interviewer I have experienced. The way he began, so open about his battles with cancer and the tragic loss of his brother…that moment in the chemotherapy ward was especially poignant…. As David said, you could have ended there. It was the most visceral moment in the entire interview. I also loved the way Tom questioned David: so attentive, asking precise questions and following up when they weren’t answered fully. It was an interview MasterClass. Thank you!

I while back I listened to Goggins everyday. Years ago Would workout listen (ear buds) at work all day -push up and pull ups at work all morning between calls. Lunch workout listen make calls. Breaks would take 1 before last hour of the day and run a few miles. Got to a point where I would literally make more calls and more activities in one day then they would do the entire week. There is shortcuts within three years I’m passing everyone it’s been doing it for 17 the workouts is what made me better gave me the energy and it gave me some to feel good about when I was failing every day on the phones. I keep his book at my desk hard to give up on that day was looking at you

Very inspiring.! ❤️. I put on motivational KZread interviews or podcast or inspirational videos interviews etc… and it’s usually Goggins that gets me fired up. I was in the Army and took it very seriously and still live with some militant habits with cleanliness, being neat and organized, self discipline is huge and when exerting myself and or at work, I do home-improvement so it’s like a work out all day most days and I don’t always eat because I fast almost every day, so when I work out or if I run, sometimes put on military cadence at times to motivate me. I don’t know how in the fuck in world David’s running 250 miles with nothing, no music at all ever, I would lose my shut but you know it makes sense because you have to be able to deal with life without motivation, and maybe that’s why he does it so he can conquer his mind.!! I mean I know that’s why he does anything but to take it to the next level it’s just him and him. PERIOD.! However, for the rest of us I need some shit to motivate me or else sometimes I just can’t get there. It’s getting better that I get older and I can override my mind and my wanting to quit. I just push through it and get it done but I’m also not like most people . What I’m trying to say is if Goggins were to or somebody where to take some of those motivational Goggins interviews and put it with Armie kids or some kind of cadence that would be so fucking amazing if I knew how to do that I would so if any of y’all do that tag me in it please I’d like to see it and use it Amen. God bless I’ll be like that that guy wa fucking stopping at mile seven just couldn’t do it but I’m saying here I think it would be so motivational Goggins what’s the be added to an army, cadence or marine cadence or military cadence with a cadence going, and Goggins chiming in that would get so many hits.!! Shit I might figure out how to do that
