13th of April, 2024: I am from the high North in Northern Norway, 56 years of age per date, and I am still listening 🥰❤️🥰 I have been listening to Chicago and Peter Cetera since I was about 13-14 years of age. I still am & I have always been a huge fan. I was just 3 LP's away from having a complete Chicago LP-collection, when the future, suddenly caught up with me, I converted into CD's and I decided to sell it all. - and I still, daily, silently regret it. David Foster & Peter Cetera. What a combo! ❤️

Zelba Zee... What made Peter one of my favorite singers (and, eventually one of three bass players that also inspired me to learn to play bass...McCartney and Tina Weymouth are the others) is his distinctive and beautiful, smooth tenor. And his delivery seems so effortless. I didn’t realize it at the time back when I was 5yrs old and my mom either had the radio going or her playing Chicago’s 45’s of “Just You ‘N Me” and she would later in my life while playing gigs and singing “Just You’N Me” that I would scream out the lyrics trying to sing along with the record (she also said the lyrics I sang were jacked up lyrics 😂) But, I do remember driving my dad nuts spinning “Old Days” so many times because by this time I was obsessed with the sweet beautiful art of tenor/falsetto singing. Even though all I thought was it is just men trying to sing high notes and trying to sound like a a lady singing high. And, boy....another one that I spun so often on my sister’s little phonograph I thought my dad was going to disown me, but the amazing harmonies were crazy smooth between Al, Dennis and Carl Wilson

Peter's voice is truly amazing. David's songwriting is second to none. So glad they teamed up to make this great music for us.

after having two surgeries at his throat he still has a better voice than most of the successfull artists nowadays..and he is a music giant,he does not need to proof anything anymore..i still like his voice.

He isnt as good as Arnel who was singing his song with David Foster. Peter Cetera was much better when he was younger, he can't sustain long notes now. When and why did he have two throat surgeries, lost his voice?

@@TruthHurts58 I think that there is confusion. Steve Perry might have gotten throat surgeries. Peter Cetera's jaw was broken in the early 70s, which did not affect his voice. He just had to adjust the movement of his mouth. He mentioned it in a few interviews that you can find here on YT.

loved him w/ Chicago. But they always come off as cold and unaccepting of him. Talk about bullies. You should hear and see, the horn guys especially, mocking and taunting PC on-stage. And when not bullying, they ignored him like he didn't exist. Don't think he was ever really happy in the band.

When I was little, I thought of Peter Cetera as perfect. He was a bright shining music God. As an adult, I see why. Such an amazing voice and stage presence.

I got out of the Marine Corps after Vietnam in 1969, and loved Chicago music. Later I realized the VOICE of Chicago. Have been a Perter Cetera fan ever since. What a great voice.

This is one of the best concerts we have to listen to before we die.

The U.S.A gave us the 4 greatest bands of the 70s....America , Chicago, Eagles. And the Beach Boys. Still great listening all these years on. Who'll remember rap crap in 50yrs. Thanks P.C.

+letsleeping Dogslie He and Lamm have lunch and do communicate once in a great while, so it must be the 3 horns who fired Danny fired Bill and made peter feel better gone than together.

+sonicwarrior Yeah I read up on Danny and got his side of the story. It's a shame and very disappointing to see such great musician act that way. Danny did go on to record the California Transit Authority and it sounds great , but still one more shot at them being together would great before it's too late.
