This was supposed to be our song for our first dance at our wedding. Unfortunately he was killed in an accident a few months before we were to be married. I hadn't been able to listen to this for many years. 2020, and its the first time I'm hearing it again. One day our souls will meet again.

Summer of 89. Probably the best time of my young life then. Simplicity and the living right on the horizon. No social media, cell phones, drones and other distractions of today's Multiverse. Just a sleepy beach town and soaking it up.

DAMN I MISS THE 80s!! I was so lucky to live in that decade. Im afraid they will never be another time in my life when music meant so much to me.

My husband & I love this movie (Chances Are) & its movie theme "After All," we've probably seen it more than 10x, never get tired of it. Now that my husband's gone, he passed away last year 2023, saw it on KZread, so I watched it again 2 more times. Brought back old memories & tears in my eyes. I miss him so much😪😪😪

I was a teenager in the 80's. Alot of fabulous memories.

I told the love of my life that this song up our life and then she left me! I miss her so much!!!!

I can tell you this : I’m so beyond grateful to have lived in the 80’s when music was the absolute BEST and it touches to your core if your being! Every time I hear an 80’s song it brings back so many wonderful memories of how life was back then : carefree, simple, clean fun, and we radiated happiness from within because the songs from that time just touched our souls and still does…. I MISS THOSE WONDERFUL TIMES SO MUCH AND THE 80’s DEFINITELY ROCKS BABY!

This was a beautifully put together video. When I got married in 2004, we chose this song as our wedding song because the words were perfect. We originally dated in 1997 when I was 19 and she was 21 for 6 months. Fast forward 6 years. I never dated again, but my wife had 2 kids and a marriage that fell apart and we got back together. Married on February 29, 2004 (yes leap day) and still married in 2020. I raised both kids as my own and they are now 18 & 21.

I just saw Chances Are for the first time the other night on an old VHS tape! Great 80s movie with this terrific song in it. Made me pull it up on KZread after seeing it. Will try to karaoke this one day but can't touch Peter Cetera's awesome voice.
