We publish this long lost recording of the David Cassidy song 'The Last Kiss' to commemorate what would have been Davids 71st birthday next monday, April 12.
David Bruce Cassidy (April 12, 1950 - November 21, 2017) was an American actor, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He was best known for his role as Keith Partridge, the son of Shirley Partridge (played by his stepmother, Shirley Jones), in the 1970s musical-sitcom The Partridge Family. This role catapulted Cassidy to teen idol status as a superstar pop singer of the 1970s.
'The Last Kiss' from his 1985 album 'Romance' was Cassidy's last major hit: it reached 6 in the UK charts and 10 in the German charts.
Cassidy died November 21, 2017 at the age of 67.

Beautiful song, beautiful singer, missed by millions still loved
Was one of the few boy's in London back in the 70's who was brave enough to say they thought David was great - I still do and his songs will live on for ever in the hearts of those who remember.

I used to love David Cassidy when I was a teenager. I will never forget his performance at MADISON Square garden in N.Y. I was in the second row. 👍🎶🎶❤❤❤❤

I was there! I spent the whole afternoon in the Toppop studio and talked to him for 45 minutes in his dressingroom. Wonderful memories! There are also two clips Toppop never did show on tv. I was 12 when this came out and was straight down to Woolworths to buy the record. David Cassidy at his best, co- written and back up vocals by George Michael, another great pop idol that is badly missed in the UK. Superb song and I still love it now, aged 51.
Even as time goes by, his magnetism, talent and charisma still sticks ... No one could forget his sweet smile and those eyes that just look right into the soul ❤️
