I loved this video, the combination of George Michael with David Cassidy was beautiful. I knew I was straight the first time I saw David Cassidy on a poster. I have loved his voice, and smile. My grandfather drank alcohol every day and died at 85. Being an Alcoholic is an illness. My David Cassidy and George Michael rest in peace.

Absolutely shocking when we lost George. Even more so when David followed. How wonderful these two voices found a way to blend in such a hauntingly beautiful song that immortalizes their talent.

When David spoke of this song , he said it was a favorite for him to preform What a beautiful soul . So sorry that he could not beat his addiction. So much hidden pain in his life. He achieved so very much. I have so very much respect for his honesty and even though towards the end, when he was sick, he still gave his all to his fans. David you are very much missed and loved. May you and your close friend George Michael be at peace.

OMG I just tripped over this reading something that George Michael wrote about singing with David Cassidy. I'm in the US but I never know about this. David was my 70s Idol and George was my 80s Idol. What a shame the US never had this release.

Have loved this from its release! Played it so freaking loud when George passed coz I couldn’t listen to his songs on the day! I knew who David was as I’d watched the Partridge Family show as a kid. I wouldn’t have known about this song unless George had been on it but as a teen it was my break up song of my first love so never forgotten, still on my playlist and played often. ROCKIN IN PARADISE GM & DC ❤

Every XTmas I play The Partridge Family Christmas Album and their holiday music as I did at the end of 2017 with David in mind. I will always love his personal solo music and that of The PF for all those groovy feel good vibes that I can still get from hearing their music

and we also lost the sweet n funny singer Davy Jones a few years ago who was going to go on a Teen Idol Tour with Cassidy that they were planning before his death.

I think my angels may have been a part of why this wasn't released in the States. My husband left and divorced me in '85. I was so despondent and prone to driving on a near empty freeway 100 MPH late at night. Had I heard this, because I always listened to David and George on my cassette player, I WOULD HAVE COMPLETELY LOST IT!!! I cried hard enough as it were through the entire ride, and looking back, I see the ways my angels distracted me and brought me back to my "senses". They would not have stood a chance against this. I know, because i was still crying to George"s "Waiting For That Day" in 1990.
