He had a style and charm all his own. He was one of our beloved singers and entertainers.

I would give anything if anyone had his old concerts to post like from the early 70's. Surely the promoters recorded them...I would LOVE to see them

His family was blessed with an abundance of looks and talent. Amazing!

I remember seeing him at Milton Tennis Courts in Brisbane. He was brilliant !!! I enjoyed his music so much. I know we are all getting older but if ever there was a lesson to be learnt about the effects that alcohol can have on the body, this is it.

I went to his 2nd concert ever in Portland in early 1971. He wore that white costume with the fringe. I was 12 years old and I think it was the highlight of my childhood!

I never knew just how big a star David was. The mayham at these concerts was even bigger than The Beatles! David just poured out all he had every time.

Beautiful 0:28 to 0:50 he is singing Summer Days....I saw him in concert in '71 and by the date of this video it was only 12 days later when I saw him!! I wish there was live footage for it. It was such a beautiful day ♥

David Cassidy was a wonderful great talent, but for music industry a commodity.. And he was burned for make money for them. This sums his life right up. But he had these combination of sexy, sensibel and sophistication innocance , than he was at his heydays the coolest guy on the planet. He had a great voice and waas so beatiful and amazing.We never forget you RIP.

You are so right...every time I look at him, I remember the feeling I felt when I first heard I think I love you and saw that beautiful face.

Saw him at Wembley 1973. Loved his music then and just as much now.

He carried an entire pop nation into glorious memories. He was literally the highlight of my youth. I did get to see him years later in a magical night at a NJ theater dinner jernt when were all snowed in and much drunken fun ensued. God bless DC

If it weren't for the internet there would be no way for so many people to find out about these videos. Of course there could be more footage somewhere but it has not been put on the internet yet. I was alive during that time and I actually was more a fan of other singers and now that I watch some of these videos of David Cassidy, I think that I sort-of missed out on being a fan of his . He is a good performer. And one of the strange things is that I look at these 70s videos and it is a strange Deja Vu because he actually did some moves that Michael Jackson went on to do when he became a megastar in the 80s even though Michael Jackson did it in a more intense way with the crotch grabbing. David shook his hips a lot like Elvis did. Essentially, I am in intellectual shock over how much time has gone by. . David is 65 now and as of this writing, is due to perform in NYC in a small venue called BB Kings . I only live about two blocks away from it. It is nothing like Madison Square Garden or the Houston Astrodome where David reportedly performed in the 70s. David no longer has sold out concerts, and his health has faded also. Sad. Many of us of the Baby Boom generation are on our way out of this world. It sounds corny and petty , but I am glad I was born at a time to have some good memories of the music of the 60s and 70s.

I remember in the early 80's, I drove by a local restaurant and they were advertising that David Cassidy would be performing there. But for some reason we did not take it seriously. But, I wish we had seen him there, the place barely held 100 people.

Not much coverage even though for an hour ,D.C. had the pavilion seats on their toes, clapping & smoking and drinking alcoholic drinks in coolers.. In those days, you could bring coolers, boxed wine, picnic folding chairs, blankets & your instamatic cannon cameras with flash cubes. XO❤.

I loved him as Keith too...there was nothing bad about Keith's image as actors go, they are not who they play...he should have given us a little more credit. He could have sung the alphabet in a monkey suit and we would have still adored him.
