Bowie in "Outside" was able to realize a deep search between synchronisms and attractive sounds, as you said, in a true superb mix: his creative verve knew how to translate also the monsters into elegance; his irony has dressed them of lightness. @theMusicofmyLife1 A chameleon changes colour in response to changes in it's environment in order to fit in, in order to become unrecognisable! Bowie's stance was the exact opposite! Didn't match the current music stream of the times. Always ahead of everything, like a visitor from the future.
