Benavidez is no defensive genius but his guard opposes a bit of a problem. It's always protecting his body and he does a decent job at parrying. Although, he does expose himself from time to time when he's seeking heavy shots. One big flaw I noticed in Benavidez is that it takes him some time to reposition himself. He turns like a semi-truck. He is also quite stationary and shows no interest in using foot work for the benefit of creating angles. I don't think Caleb was far off the target when he said he has a higher boxing IQ than Benavidez

I dig 'em both, but I've watched Caleb at a show about 6 years ago. I'm riding with Mr. Plant and his team but I do KNOW how dangerous Mr. Benevidez and his team most certainly are. Oh boyyyy! Drained implies temporary cutting water weight and then rehydration back up to the real walk around weight. If he lost real body weight because he is leaner, then he is NOT drained. He simply lost real body fat. You're welcome.

I’m realizing a lot of people are commenting about their opinions at the end of the day it’s who wants it more and I believe it’s Benavidez. People are sleeping on him bc of his resume but remember nobody wanted to fight him then people say he lacks defense but people are just saying what other people are saying. If you paid attention to his past 3 fights he’s definitely stepped his defense up. Based on your logic every fighte should be fighting a weight class higher . Nobody is walking around 5lbs within their fight weight only Boxers I know that did that were Floyd and manny .

No I understand . Your logic still makes no since . Every boxer is cutting 10-15lbs which is unhealthy . Boxers in the 80s did same day weigh in . Therefore it is actually not healthy for any boxer to cut that much weight .

I like both fighter and hope they come out of the ring with minimum injuries. Though majority rule for David, there physical make me to think otherwise. Is like David train too hard to get another version of himself that has not been proven. Caleb might shock the world on Saturday night.
