I’m pretty sure he’s been watching David dismantling every single opponent in his weight class which includes some of them he had already beaten and some that he was supposed to face. Canelo knows he’s been slowing down and his body mechanics aren’t what they used to be, a guy like Benavidez would out work him and overwhelm him with pressure (which he hates), speed and power.

When it comes to benavidez yes

Everyone is talking Canelo vs Benavidez, what about Charlo and Andrade. These fights would be very good fights but nobody’s talking about them only Canelo. All these guys should fight each other instead of always wanting to fight the best boxer. Canelo will eventually fight Benavidez and it will be a classic fight maybe even a few fights with each other. Charlo and Andrade also need to fight each other instead of just running their mouths.

I’m guessing the reason they want him vs canelo is cuz all those other guys are trash and they want Benavides to fight one of the best, although i still think Benavides will give canelo problems

He has to carry his feet in the ring and he does well with it but it IS an obstacle. He compensates with his speed and his height and his defense. No doubt. But see somebody like Plant will see that and try to exploit that. I think I would have him work on his footwork and his legs just so that they dont have to be a burden in the ring. But he usee that weakness to his advantage so...it might be nest to keep it just as it is. But I would work on it anyway he already got the speed and the power and the sharpness and the defense. Build that leg strength now

He run away very fast from Bivol and Beterbiev. He is one 175lbs natural fighter. Now he has to work very very hard to make the 168lbs hoping to get big payday against Canelo o beat smaller guys than facing the 2 Russians. Playing smart and safe.

Wouldn't it be amazing to see the Charlo Brothers vs these brothers? What a night! Lol

@@Mickieshelton Billy Joe definitely found his momentum in the middle rounds, was winning the 8th as well until Canelo pull countered him with that uppercut and flipped the fight 180 degrees back in Canelo's favour. I doubt the same will happen to Caleb Plant though, he is naturally bigger/stronger than BJS and is more dedicated to the sport. With that being said I'm picking Canelo to win on points, because even if Canelo gets beat - he still wins with the judges lol (unless it's vs Floyd)
