For all the people with a hand in making these for so many fights over the years, thank you! Although Showtime Boxing is going away, these All Access shows will continue living in legacy. Yea but one good year doesn’t make up for a bunch of years of BS. The bar has been set so low that this year has been over valued. This is how every year SHOULD HAVE BEEN. My guess is, they tried their hardest to put on the best year in years in the hopes of keeping Showtime Boxing afloat. But it wasn’t enough for CBS/Paramount. Boxing just isn’t making them the kinda money they want to stay interested. They probably lost a lot over the years and decided it just wasnt in their best interests anymore

Their Dad reminds me of myself and how tough I was on my kids especially my Son because of the same reasons. Almost everyone between lightweight - cruiserweight walks around about 20+ pounds heavier than their fight weight. At this point 175 is accurate though. He’s not a cherry picker because he isn’t a full champion and has to fight those in line with who the WBC ranks high enough. Canelo, Fury, Tank and the like are cherry pickers because they have the power to fight who/when they want and always pick the easier options.

Im a Canelo fan to the max but I’ve been made a fan of Andrade. He’s very likable

I boxed amateurs with my older brother and his best friend as a teenager up until about 2008. One of the trainers in our gym used to be a trainer in Andrades camp as well. At the time, Andrade was in the amateurs. We were in Mass, and I believe he was fighting out of Providence. Anyways, my brother and Steve, the trainer, would bump heads every once in a while. Eventually, Steve would always end up threatening my brother with, " You want me to get Boo Boo?!!! Do You Want me To get Boo Boo?!!!". I didn't even know who he was at the time, but he made him sound like the boogeyman😂. So that's why im rooting for Andrade. Also, my brother and his boy got to watch Andrade and Paulie Malignaggi spar. They said he lifted Malignaggi off his feet. At the time, Paulie was one of the best pros, so it was a big deal.

Thats what they said about Riddick Bowe vs Lennox Lewis, and Bowe ignored him forever... Boxing is a dirty sport I hope you're right tho, I think Benevidez vs Canelo is the only fight to make at MW right now. I dont even know who this guy is David is fighting.
