My thoughts on David changed when max was in the darkroom

nah i was nice to david, im definitely trying to be nicer to david in this prequel. he just wants to protect his family, and let's not forget, he was the one who saved Max. without him, Max would be long gone.

David does redeem himself at the end of the original game but up until then he was a true Step Douche. He has no right trying to lecture Chloe, make her empty her pockets, search her room, etc. The guy is not her dad. The way he reacts if you reject his offer in Episode 3 shows his true colors. Not to mention saying "You've had enough of vacation from having a father figure". She didn't ask for that "vacation". Poor girl would give anything to have William back. He lectures her about Joyce hurting but disregards Chloe's pain. Still cannot understand how Joyce could just let him treat her own daughter like that. It's no wonder Chloe came out the way she did. Joyce truly did pick him over her. Chloe says that she needs her yet Joyce just brushes it off. Still for the life of me cannot understand how anyone can argue that David is a better person than Chloe. Chloe is a hurting and still developing kid. David is a grown ass man who ought to know better.

She looks so happy at the end, being nice to David isn't the answer.

I didn't argue with mom in the kitchen a minute before but the tone he took with me made me say "Oh fuck no!". So I searched up a guide just to make sure that I put him in his place.

Is that a different voice actor for David?

People keep saying that david is a good man but he’s not in life is strange he keeps pictures of Kate and bully’s her and has cameras in the house with out Chloe’s moms permission so its like 50/50 I guess

I love this

I never really understood people who defend David. He's abusive, manipulative, and disgusting. I despised him since the first time he hit Chloe. The "you're breaking your mother's heart" trick is manipulation to guilt her into being complacent with his abuse. If a man ever snapped his fingers and pointed at the ground to get me to come I'd slap the shit out of him. Drag him, Chloe.
