Again, I must profusely thank you for your tireless effort to track these down, painstakingly compile and then share them with all of us. You will have a special place in weird culture collector/compiler heaven. These segments are perhaps single handedly responsible for my own thrift store crate digging obsession when I was a teenager.

+Don Giller - There was one of these segments I will never forget. I was about 18 and had just come back home from hanging with my buddies... and getting rather stoned. I turned on the TV to Dave (A record collection segment! Sweet!) and went to the fridge for a cold drink. I poured a glass of the iced tea my Mom had made earlier and sat down on the couch, happy, high, and ready to enjoy some Dave. Just as I was thinking how awesome and delicious my glass of iced tea was, Dave started playing a vintage record from the "American Iced Tea Council" or something like that. It was a silly little 1950's "Let's All Go To The Lobby" type of jingle with lyrics along the line of "Why don't you have iced tea more often... doesn't it sound just right?" I froze mid-swallow and realized: *"Holy shit. Dave can read my thoughts."* Thanks for posting these. Brings back a lot of memories. And paranoid thoughts!

They only own Dave’s 1980 morning show and 1993-2015’s Late Show. They don’t own 1982-93’s Late Night. And streaming would have to eliminate all - and I mean _all_ of the music, as securing the rights would be prohibitively expensive. So it won’t happen, unfortunately.

Of course. Thanks Don. (Not to be greedy, but there's a parody of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE with a great Andy Breckman joke in it.)

So much of '60s music like that was just straight garbage. It all sounded like the singer was singing over an entirely different song.
