Dave Reveals Why He Highly Rates the HPD Turbo Kit on his 1HZ 100 Series Landcruiser
On their way to the Victorian High Country from mid north coast NSW, Dave & Michelle from @MGKAdventure took a detour in their 100 series landcruiser to call in to HPD in Edwardstown SA to say g'day. It was a real thrill to see them and check out all the work they've done on their impressive 105 series. Dave took us for a spin and told us why he loves the HPD Garrett tubo kit. There's been a huge improvement from the standard naturally aspirated 1HZ which only produced 44HP at the wheels before he fitted a HPD turbo kit and got Hunter High Performance to give it a tune.

Not sure, but we don't recommend anything over 14 - 18psi max as a safe and healthy tune
Be great if it didn't have the music in the vid

Good advice mate! And welcome to the HPD Tribe! - You're gonna love your turbo kit legend. We'll make sure we go easy on the music in future. The engine/intake/turbo/exhaust noise is music enough
1hz with more than 40% power gain won't last long. Indirect injection

With a safe tune and intercooled it sits comfortably at 16psi. With better engine response, better fuel consumption and obviously more power, you're not hitting max power for very long, only when you need it. Most of the driving is performed in between the 5-8psi mark. This is one of our highest selling kits and there's no reason for premature engine failure, providing install and tune done correctly.
