I know. If you don't get his style, you may as well watch the Bachelor. I only stumbled on Dave's KZread videos a few days ago. Taylor Swift and Kelsey Grammer were the topic. I saw the long version with Paul and Barbara and they kept telling him Travis Kelce. I thought I'd die laughing 😂
I love it when Jimby Kimball does the mean tweets.
It's such a delight seeing Dave and his kind of humour again

I’ve only ever requested one autograph by mail. Mr. Letterman circa 1992. I was about 13 years old and I loved Dave. That framed autographed photo is still in my bathroom right above the toilet. He’s still the greatest, and I think of him every time nature calls.
I feel like we are getting Dave back more and more every day....LOVE IT!

Thank you, Mary and Dave for quoting my comment. I gotta say that this length of beard looks much nicer than the Duck Dynasty variety Dave was sporting before.

Like Jimmy Kimmel, I too was the ‘Letterman’ guy at my High School. I’ve been a fan of Dave’s since his appearances on the Gong Show, and remember fondly, the attempt at the mid day show, before NBC got their heads outta their assets to realize that Dave was tailor made for late night tv. Thank you so very much for posting these timeless, incredible memories!!!!
I'm so glad we have KZread to watch these new Letterman episodes whenever we want. For most of the 33 years Dave was on network TV (beginning in 1982), I would have to pre-program my two VHS tape players to record every new show so that I could watch them on weekends or when I had some other free time (these were the olden days when, if you didn't watch the original broadcast, you just never saw it). Geez, those 100+ blank VHS tapes I bought just to watch Dave cost me a bundle. Kids don't know how great/easy they have it nowadays.
I can’t thank you enough for doing these videos on KZread ! We all miss you !
Hi, Mr. Letterman. Thanks for the countless hours of entertainment.

Dave has an epic beard! It takes time, it takes character, it takes the ups and downs of a life well lived to grow a beard that color and that magnificent. Wear it proud, don’t ever shave my friend.
Happy to see you dave loved all of the times you had norm macdonald on your show wow what a fella both you and he are a joy to watch
This is the perfect format for Dave's humor, he's such a naturally gifted comedian. Let me address the elephant in the room, Dave is as sharp as he's ever been, if not sharper at his age, he must be what, 112? He's probably as sharp as any 2 year year old.

Thank God for Dave Letterman! 😊💪
Thanks for all the memories, Dave. I wasted, er, I mean devoted, so many years watching your show and appreciating your acerbic wit. You taught me ways to be sarcastic that are so subtle, I'm not even sure I understand my own sense of humor. But watching segments with you and Don Rickles, Regis Philbin, Norm MacDonald, Garry Shandling, Charles Grodin, Richard Simmons, and others were timeless moments of joy that I'll enjoy for many years to come. The great thing about memory loss is that you can rewatch interviews dozens of times and still enjoy them like they're new! To this day, I still honor some funny KZread comedians with words like "Letterman-esque", or heaven forbid, Leno-ish, and still imagine the silly rivalry continuing. You were not just a caustic wit, but were at times an unwitting representative of us, the awkward and socially anxious crowd. We saw in you someone with a grand TV persona worth mimicking - not in real life, you know, but at least at parties and other events that we were very uncomfortable attending. So thanks, and Good Night Everybody. (No need to acknowledge me. I get ignored by every celebrity I toast, so it would be disappointing to break the "streak." I hope you're doing well, happy, and letting people entertain you for a change)

I read a comment referring to Dave as the GOAT. I thought about that for a moment because Carson was called the King of Late Night. He was, and I watched and enjoyed him. But I was excited to watch Dave from 1980 onward. He brought a new sensibility to talk shows and was always hilariously funny. No one has done it better. And he lasted for 33 years in late night. So, I agree: Dave is the GOAT.

Fan since your beloved daytime show in the 80s. Much love old man. ❤
Welcome back Dave! Great to see you on this new media. Look forward to all your clinical diagnosis's on life's mysteries ....aka glasses without lenses etc.
Jeff Altman reference. Fantastic. Had one of his appearances on VHS that I played for all my friends, where Altman is describing a descent on a flight that experiences severe turbulence. Passengers are freaking out. Altman then jumps out of his chair and mimics the male flight attendant: ''Re-LAAAAX. We're LaAAAN-ding. We're LaAAAAAAN-ding."
These clips always make me laugh! Always looks like they're filming in a "facility" like a "long term care facility"(nursing home 😄!) and that's the reception's desk in back!!!! I guess I've worked in tooo many during my career as a PT!!!!! 😄😄😄

I love that Dave called him "Jimmy Kimble". That has to be a reference to Wendy the Slow Adult....right????

Dear Mr. Letterman, I have always been a fan of yours since I was able to get my own TV in my room, to watch you on Late Night (with headphones on, so my mom couldn't hear the show, LOL) My favourite memory was the times when you made coffee from a dispenser which was up in the rafters. And when you were "this close to makin toast!" Of all the late night talk shows, I appreciated yours the most. I have watched the good, bad, sad, and the rest. YOU will always be a fond memory, and wish you the best as you continue to make us think through a different perspective.
