Especially the soundtrack Even how the first song had kicked in, I was like ahhhhbyaaaaa
When the actual gameplay began and moment of truth started.. nostalgia overload!! What a special feeling. We're not young anymore, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I would never give up these experiences or the era I grew up in
Since everyone shares their stories, heres mine. It's the year of 2008 I'm a 6 year old kid, I go to the rental store on a Friday evening with my dad and rent this game, $4 for one week, I turn it on and play. She sells Sanctuary - the cult, Summertime - sublime , Moment of truth.. and more , This is the music i grew up on from these 00's games, These games soundtracks are what have influenced my taste and style to this day. that funny slim jim with the tall hair was gold! Life doesn't feel the same as back then, It's a feeling of melancholy and nostalgia thinking back to those days when things were just easy. It's your chilhood memories, when life was chill. p.s life is still good now, just nothing the same as back then which weighs my heart down a little when i think about it.

I was born in 97’ so I’m around your age somewhat, I just bought myself an original Xbox recently for such a good price and it’s honestly refreshing buying all of these old games again and playing them. Really brings mr childhood back a little bit. So worth it.

One of the best soundtracks, i remember finding sublime from this game. Rivals with the Tony Hawk soundtracks.

I remember playing this on my big brothers xbox when it first came out. 2001 was so long ago, but it feels like it was just yesterday..... I never thought the world could change so much.
I played this when I had a bad fever for a week when I was younger and it's really stuck in my mind as the most chill experience ever. I played this like 12 hours a day.

Couldn’t remember entirely if this was the game I used to play on my grandmas PS2 until I saw the slim Jim man, then only was I 100% sure. Didn’t have a clue who he was but I used to love playing as him because he made me laugh. Honestly didn’t know there were levels, I spent most of the time trying to bike up that wooden ladder but failing, great game

This and THPS4 (on GC) changed my life as a kid. The soundtracks shaped my music taste and I still get these songs stuck in my head on a regular basis. R.I.P Dave Mirra, you absolute legend. It was crazy to see NC in a video game!
Nostalgia hits so hard on this one...
I just unlocked a core memory that I didn’t even know that I had! I used to play this game all the time as a kid. Time sure does fly…
Used to play the highway level and purposefully get hit by cars. The glitches in this game rival Skate 3. A game has never made me laugh so hard before

The ps2 was the first video game console I remember playing and the first game I ever remember playing was this, Dave mirra bmx 2 loading up the game and hearing The Cult She Sells Sanctuary will always be a memory of my gaming this game has and always will have a soft spot in my heart
I'm going to be 35 years old in a month, but I remember playing this game like it was yesterday. The best of times.
I was never really into bmx or skating or anything, but i remember playing this game so vividly, all the time. I remember how obnoxiously loud the birds were, riding around the go kart track, not being that good at the game but still having fun jamming to the music...
I ordered this game last night on Ebay. I had this game on Gamecube, back when I was a kid. Can't wait to play again!

I miss ps2.
I was born in 1994 but this game just brings out the 2000s in me lol this game introduced me to some of the greatest Hip Hop music of all time Gangstarr , A Tribe Called quest, Black Sheep etc.💯 I’m at work listening to Bizarre Ride to the Pharcyde and I just had to come back to get that nostalgic feel Edit: I also just found out Dave Mirra committed suicide 5 years ago 😞 #LLDaveMirra you and Tony Hawk were a prominent part of my gaming childhood 🌹
People, this is a 10/10 game, I've never played such a flawless game. In every way, shocked they didn't upgrade to ps4/5. The game play, the moves, the SOUND TRACK.
It was so crazy when u actually started playing the game I almost lost it
My brother had this game and tony hawk underground on GameCube. I’d play those with my cousin almost every weekend. I always would pick the slim Jim dude because I thought his hair was hilarious. We didn’t know how to play correctly since we were little kids, but we laughed soooo hard when they’d fall, yk, as little kids do. The soundtrack on these 2 games has stuck with me for YEARS. What I would give to play those games one more time.
This game was my first Gamecube game I got for Christmas back in 2007 Dave Mirra Pro BMX part 2 animation playing the older version on my phone right now which was Ultimate remix part 1 and one more thing all Dave best bmx and a very good person.
The amount of Nostalgia I just got this is just ... Tears are just pouring out of my eyes right now
Damn Woodward been around for years they actually put it in a game that’s crazy 😂
I didnt even think it was possible to play this game without using the slim jim guy
Child me had no idea how great life was back then
If anyone has ever watch the bmx video called EXPENDABLE YOUTH When they show Dave Mirras riding part of the video, this same song plays..the nostalgia RIP MIRRA ..RIDE ON FOR WE ALL MUST MEET OUR MOMENT OF TRUTH
Those songs take u back on memory lane
Rip dad…. I miss playing this with him and my brother as the slim Jim man ♥️♥️♥️🤣🤣🤣🤣
I played on riders republic last night and they had added bmx's to the game and my mind when stright to this great game ❤
11.30 start of GOAT soundtrack in history of RAP

Best soundtrack and Game. What a time
Un tremendo juego una leyenda del bmx dave mirra me alegra saber que logro mucho en este deporte y descanza en paz
Holy memory unlocked this game was the best
Wow the memories
This soundtrack is hands down perfect for this game. Following playing it in college, whenever now I hear godsmack-awake and tribe called quest -buggin out; I’m thinking of Woodward Camp
This game is legendary
Just heard the intro song to this game on the Rams 49s game and immediately was like dave mira bmx 2… so weird i was literally 7 years old playing this game and can’t remember the last time I thought about this game. But that song just clicked in my brain.
Damn them gangstarr moments use to have me in my bag
I miss this i hope to god ps5 isnt bsing and will play old games...this was awarded..rip Dave
