McCoy my all time favotite rider!! Ground or ramp this guy is 100%

RIP to one of the greatest athletes ever, he did it all and did them all well. I remember that one night back in 2001 when me and my buddy decided to try out Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX on DREAMCAST mind you because it had been sitting there and nobody would ever play it. It was the first time for both of us, we started the game and were getting no more couple thousand points but it was such an addictive game that by the next morning when we finally stopped playing some 8-10 hours later we both were insanely great at it. We were playing like a couple of Grandmaster BMX Champs. My condolences to his family and kids, i don't agree with what he did and i know there's gonna be people trying to talk shit about him and his decision to do what he did but I for one will not add salt to the wound and will try to celebrate his life in a more positive way since he touched a lot of people lives . #RIPMiracleBoy #bmxlegend #championonwheels #heartbreaking

Had to come and watch all his runs after hearing the bad news . One of the very best ever RIP Dave!

This xgames is the reason I started riding. The tire tap on the back I've always remembered and was what inspired me to look up vert doubles and find this video. Awesome.

I bought his Haro Mirra pro in 2001 just because I loved Haro and thought Dave was the perfect rider. I followed bmx ever since early 1980s and watch bmx beat in 1984 with Andy ruffel, those were the days. I use to get up at 4am just to watch the x games on Uk TV so I could watch Mirra do his stuff. Very sad such a talent has been lost. Rip bmx miracle

It happened a few houses down from my parents. We had absolutely no idea what was going on, and were shocked to say the least when we learned it was Dave! I still can't believe he's gone, or the fact that he chose to end it all the way he did. I don't think he realized the impact his life had on so many people around the world, but more importantly, his wife and kids. I don't think I'll ever understand it, but then again, it's not my place to either. Praying for Lauren, and those precious little girls. RIP Dave "miracle boy" Mirra🙏🏻

A lot of things right now are UNCLIRRA ,but your death woke up the the BMX world about head trauma,and your saving lives cuz my kid will never ride without wearing HEAD GIRRA. They were all highly professional riders, world class riders… it’s basically the same riding you’d see at the shows/ demos right through the 80s & 90s… to modern day shows! These runs would have been well planned out! 😉👍

I hated this doubles crap. Why make a dangerous sport more dangerous for no reason.

Great stuff, youd have to be a pro to improvise without choreography.
