Arms or no arms, the mental toughness of this young man was staggering. I would not have made the cut.
This guy seems really cool i hope he's still doing his thing and painfree
He deserves anything and everything! 150% respect!
I have always enjoyed Dave’s interviews with veterans - and his willingness to use his platform to uplift their stories. He seems to find the perfect balance of allowing them to tell their story in their own words, honouring their sacrifice, and getting to know them as people. No pity. No manipulation. No hero worship. No hidden agenda or politics. It always seemed as though the veterans appreciated his approach.
That man is a hero. He did what he could to help the USA. I'm glad that he was able to get back on track. Thanks for letting him tell his story, Dave!
What a hero! Mad respect. Thank you for your service!! ❤
All my respect to this man. Thank you is not enough.
i have no words. incredible character and strength. God bless you forever ❤
It doesn’t get any better than that. Thanks Dave and Godspeed Sgt Marrocco!
Best interview Dave has done So much Respect for Sgt Marrocco and his team of Doctors. God Bless our Military. I have nothing to complain about. AT ALL.
God Bless Doctors and Our Troops
Maybe the most deft interview I’ve ever seen Dave conduct. The interviewee is also incredibly poised.
Man! What a GREAT effen segment! I hope Brendan never looses the spirit he displayed here. He inspires others with his positive attitude and will to live.
Respect. So much resilience
I hope he's doing well and has joy and peace. Dave shows a lot of compassion and kindness to people who've been through it (as opposed to say, he and Dr. Phil mocking each other) and I think it helps to hear a voice of care for others too. Some people go through hells and don't hear any positive messages. It helps to know people exist who care.
Been watching you since your morning show and remember this guest... what a fortunate young man, to say the least! I say fortunate because if he were lucky, he would have won the lottery lol... We miss You, Paul and the whole crew. Though, looks like retirement has been good to you, but luv seeing you guys on Bab's show..! Always wishing everyone the best ✌️💚
Thank you and all that served in our military. This gentleman is a hero. My family was blessed in that we returned home safe and sound. My father flew 26 missions in WWII and myself a Vietnam vet.

If this gentleman and his doctor are still alive and well, Dave should have an interview with him/them here on this channel. Who else would like to see that?
I had not heard of this case. Unreal the progress he made as of the date of this recording. I hope he is doing well today and living a wonderful life.
OH MY GOD!!! What an absolute inspiration as a human being, a man, an American. This dude is unbelievable!!! What a f'ng stud! Champion of life. Just watching this has inspired me so much. Thank you for your service brother!!! I hope to one day be able to meet you.
THANKS
the pun is not lost on me that this all involved the Armed Services
What an amazing, positive individual. If that happended to me I cannot imagine handling it as well as he did at that time. He could have found a doctor to say he had ‘bone spurs’ to avoid serving, like a recent ex-President did, but he wanted to be in the military to serve our country, and sacrificed a lot for us. Bless him and all our current and former military personnel for their bravery and commitment.
Could you imagine Jimmy Fallon doing this interview? He'd be giggling the entire time.

Can you imagine needing to belittle another person to make you feel better about yourself?

@@codymoe4986 I feel fine about myself, but unlike you I'm not going to die a virgin.
An American Hero who fought for our freedoms and paid a huge cost. We should give him all he needs for the rest of his life and he should have these politicians who are at fault be his servants.
Fantastic

I googled his name (Brendan Marrocco), and the most recent thing I found was a 2018 interview where he seems well, and both arms had good strength.

It looks more ‘normal’ than if you were missing a hand - plus, you can likely use it for some things, like bracing an object while you use your other hand.
Big deal, last year I got a head transplant

It didn't take, by the sounds of it...
There are so many paradoxes with this story, but all of these are overshadowed by this Man’s personal courage , and how that was somehow aided by medical advancements, that we are expecting will only get better, with the integration of ai and other systems. Hopefully deployed to save lives rather than take them. There are so many ways to put so many different people on a constructive path, but it’s typically stigma that gets in the way.
Bet he wishes he didn’t sign up. What did he accomplish? Nada
These interviews with veterans are always so incredibly moving. I understand why, but it's too bad Sgt. Marrocco wasn't able to be wheeled out for his intro instead of already there, because I think he would have received a much more thunderous ovation. What an incredibly poised man. Thanks for posting this.
American emotional comments are incoming! Take cover! You might hear overused words such as god bless, hero (often) thank you for your service and many more common phrases and words.
