More like, he's unrated.

My hubby was a mate of Dave's, back in Cardiff 👍 When he came to Australia, we greeted him at the airport. Dave remembered my hubby 👍He said come to the concert, we went had a good time, was invited to the after party, but had to get home, as we had 3 young children at the time, and grandparents were babysitting ❤️ Dave was a good friend, and hubby often talks about the good times they had 👍

I am in tears. Not only is Dave and his band absolutely amazing, but it becomes obvious after a while that this is a very special show presented for a facility for special needs adults (or perhaps a senior living facility). Most of them can't get up and dance although they wish they could. I loved Dave and Rockpile in the 80's and now I love him even more.Twice as amazing.

I think that you maybe misinterpret it a little!? It's actually from a public concert but in the small backyard of a gallery without a proper stage! :-) Yes, many of Dave's fans are that old now days! ;-) More like a rehearsal gig before his appearance at the Colne Blues festival 2016 in UK later that week! Dave did planned at that time to play much more "real" concerts in spring, summer 2017, in Scandinavia and England! But I think it only a few concerts in Sweden and Finland, before announcing that he quit touring!:-(

🤔 i saw dave edmunds from the front row when he did the information tour; i saw the rolling stones 3 times 1975 1978 1981; i saw the who in 1976 with keith moon; i saw uriah heep return to fantasy tour; i saw cheap trick in 1978 heaven tonight tour; i saw ac/dc with bad company in 1984; i saw twice the beat farmers; i saw david bowie station to station tour; i saw alice cooper in 1975 at the denver coliseum; in 1983 i saw night ranger and sammy hagar; in 1976 i saw boston and black sabbath; in 1990 at the paramount theater i saw lou reed; in 1984 i saw quiet riot and the scorpions; and i saw the original foghat in the late 1980s; and of all of it; far and away; dave edmunds was the most amazing bad ass kiss ass blistering rock and roll show that i have ever seen or can ever imagine. dave edmunds is rock and roll🌪👻

No shit, I saw some of those bands,Stones in78 , 89 Who in 89 etc. but I thought the Ramones and The Jam were a lot better and U2 were ok in 1981 and 87, but Dave rocks better than all of them I only saw him once at the park west in Chicago, in 85. I wish he would come back to Chicago

Ken; thanks for posting, man! What a great little show for him to do; how nice and intimate! He has aged very well, and still sounds great! These songs really take me back....

Thanks for sharing this. The one and only dave edmunds magic still going strong here! Stole many of his licks in the eightees but could never get the magic that's in his music. Great. Hope he enjoys his retirement. When someone contributed to the idea rock'nroll will never die, dave and his band remind me of it.

I luv Dave.Saw him with Love Sculpture in the sixties,a long te ago.

Mr rhythm frightened the life out of me with that first "Deborah"...Hahaha

Tråkigt men det var nog inte så mycket publicitet innan. Tror jag såg det på FB genom Micke Finell. Lite rep. innan bluesfestivalen i Colne UK senare den veckan.

Dave looks good for his age and he can play that guitar like nobody else oh, I wish I could have seen him live but instead I married this pain in the ass with all these damn kids and just ruin my life you know I used to play guitar.

But I think it only was 4 or 5 in Sweden and Finland, before announcing that he quit touring!:-( Perhaps he reconsider at get out on the roads again, he is not that old!:-) Saw Steve Gibbons this summer in Sweden, 78 and still rockin'!;-)

... and if you write and you play and you sing very well, and you made a life and a living bringing joy to the world, this is what you do when you retire. Keep wangin' Dave. I'm only 67. Been playin's since I was 8, and I've just bought me some "more" new "gear", and I'm funkin' outta hear!!!
