I lived in England for 3 years in the early seventies and never missed Dave Allen's show. Sadly we never got it in the States.

He never switched off , my wife and I saw him shopping in Marks and Spencers in High Street Kensington , walking around very slowly in the ladies department , he must have known people recognized him , he picked up some ladys knickers from the display to examine looking at it puzzled !

Some scenes are still funny, but many of them bored me too, mostly cause i already knew how it would end. If you compare it to monty pythons, it already was a bit lame that days i guess.
