I feel so fortunate to have lived my formative years as part of the 70's 80's surf culture. This song sums it up in laconic Australian excellence punctuated by Telecacter and Stratocaster bite. Brillant. The lead guitarist Brett Kingman is really on fire too.

You are spot on, walked out after 10 minutes seeing him play alone with a guitar in a pub. Goes to show he thinks he can be a one man entity, he cannot, and that is what PRIDE does to you.

@@jamesgray7576 exactly. He’s a great songwriter and performer. He’s never claimed to be anyone other than who he is, and he represents us aussies beautifully. Go and write a song that so articulately describes social divides as hoochie gucci fiorucci mama does and let us know when its ready!
