Wow what a great time to grow up in the 70 and 80 in Australia 🇦🇺 with all our great bands !!! Great song RIP Guy LEGEND
Beautiful song, beautiful rendition. Modern day Henry Lawson, Banjo Patterson Aussie classic, in the best of folk and blues story telling traditions. As a Black man from the wrong side of the tracks with a rough back story, I found myself once upon a time working in a professional capacity with mostly White men who were homeless and drug addicted. For a myriad of reasons, this song exemplifies a break through moment in my life, where I was able to truly empathise with White Fellas and accept them as Brothers. Subsequently I was able to heal from my own pain by acknowledging the humanity in us all. Bottom line is trauma is trauma, it knows no colour. At the end of the day it’s our pain and our joy, our smiles and tears, our common human emotions that unite us all as human family. The more we realise this, the greater our capacity to be humane and love ourselves as well as “others”. Peace.

More power to you old mate. A slice of life in our enlightened times. Music is still here for all of us to take stock and reflect of the journey.

Loved his voice - Reckless was such a super special song ♥
One of the most beautifully performed songs of all time
Only an amazing song would hold up when played like this
Sing along if you know the words lmao if you don't who even are you ♥️
Saw the man in Miami last Sunday, absolutely fantastic, unique, brilliant and timeless, great complex lyrics and great music to back it up , 30years plus of pleasure , keep it going bro.
Guy McDonough OWNED this song. It's so sad he's gone, but every time Reyne does this song it just reminds me of how much Guy OWNED it.

James oversings the vocals in this version. Such a beautiful song. I lived the era being able to see Oz Crawl in pubs when they burst on the scene in 80. RIP Guy & Brad.

Hearing Reyne and Guy McDonough sing together, back in the day, were arguably better than Moss and Barnes, in Chisel's prime

That's the best I've heard James sing that song and I really enjoyed it but I feel he should give a disclaimer before he sings that and Errol saying how he could never do it as good as Guy!

Brett Kingman - Nice work mate!
Powerful!
Cara e muito linda essa música com dois violões de mais
Australians songs 80s 👍❤
I have to respect it, but it really lacks something without Guy singing the bulk of the vocals... The original composition was perfect, with Guy carrying it and James chiming in every so often with a few well-placed harmonies. Guy's voice was perfectly mellow, where Jame's vocals are really too sharp and shrill at least in this performance. Still, he did it justice.

Aquele vocalista era da banda Australian Crawl, ele já faleceu. Esse aue esta cantando é James Reyne, ele era desta banda também, era vocalista também, só que eles se separou da banda e começou carreira solo.
Great song, can't handle piezo pickups though

Guy was much better singer than James. No comparison at all. He didn't even reference Guy at all.
Way to butcher a good song James, way to go....gah !
