His divorce was ruined by a lawyer that wasn't professional, slept with the clients brother and after it went south proceeded to ruin the life of her client that had nothing to do with her unprofessional behavior. It's not like Charlie forced her to have sex with him.

@@TekWolfie the lawyer didn't act alone Charlie gladly went along with it he had plenty of other options but didn't care also it was shown on multiple things that Charlie pursued woman with little or no regard for anyone including family friends and other people plus had zero respect for vows or relationship status

Yeah cos he was broke as hell , after his brother slept with his divorce lawyer so yeah he has to take responsibilities for his actions. Charlie was the reason Alan became a leech he had no other option
