shallon you been through a similar thought process as me. when I broke up with my first love/bf (and last) I realized I never asked myself while I was with him "is this working for me? is he giving me what I need?". instead, I focused on his needs only and I loved him blindly. if I didn't do that I could have saved myself a big heart break in the end maybe. or be more secure in the relationship. but hey it taught me a lot of things. I came to realization that my happiness depended only on him. if he was being nice to me that day, I was happy; if he was grumpy I was sad. and that was pathetic... after the break up I decided to find non-guy stuff that brings me and my life happiness. I haven't figured it out 100 % but I feel so much better than I ever did for my entire life ^^

I have experienced most of what you shared about yourself in this video and I've really come to a place of self-awareness (and date I say love) and what you said at the end of your video is everything. You said, "I don't need attention from him, I've got the attention of myself". I applaud you Shallon 👏 for real. That's exactly where I'm at too. Bravo. And you are so gorgeous don't tell yourself anything different. Looking forward to more of your videos.

I noticed that the best way to act after a date is to not initiate contact, no matter what. If he sends you messages and pictures or stuff like that, reply in a nice way, but short and sweet, and do not offer to go out (“btw would you like to...”) and don’t initiate contact! Don’t send him a photo of a scenery if you’re going for a walk, a link to a song that reminds you of something funny, nothing. Let him start the interaction after the date, and then you should reply but NOT to ask him out. If he keeps texting without proposing a date, you know he doesn’t want to make space in his schedule for you. Therefore you let him do his thing and you do yours. Men play roles, nobody is so fantastic and amazing as what they appear to be like on a date, we all send our “representative”. Nobody has THAT kind of chemistry. As for acceping things out of fear, ironically that’s the worst one can do in life. And ironically again, when you turn your back to someone they’ll value you more. Cheers ladies ✨🦋 keep dancing in the moonlight

I can relate so much. Especially the fear, fear based decisions and divorce with loss. After my divorce, I no longer fear the things that I once feared. I now ask myself if I like the guy. I wish I could say I can't relate but I can relate all too well to everything that you're saying. I don't enjoy Christmas anymore because it reminds me of when I was in my marriage and I have been divorced for many years now. I thought marriage was gonna save me too. After my marriage ended, I dated a lot too. Now I know and get exactly what I want in dating.

I remember all my friends got married, had kids, and settled down. I wanted more for myself, travel, and go to college. Most of my friends got divorced because they hooked up too young. I always heard people say to me, get married and if it doesn't work out.. you can always get a divorce. I was too scared to get married to someone.. and get stuck in it for life.. that's a lot to handle so I never got married. I am happy and I don't regret it. So I also think it's important to ask yourselves.. can you see yourself living with this person for the rest of your life.. under one roof? Can you see yourself waking up and sleeping in the same bed? Alpina Chilton

Just broke up with a guy who I already saw many red flags from early stage and felt that he probably not the one for me. But I just afraid of bringing it up and leaving him....🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ eventually he wanted to break up. Unbelievable that I could do something like that for so long. (Btw He’s that kind of ‘good fuckboy’ as you said who is good to his family, care about works, good salary, hang out with friends etc, but just didn’t care about me that much)
