Thank you for the clean and quick walk-through. Very easy to understand. Just out of curiosity, have you been able to still get the ACL to work when you have multiple data sources? I am in a situation where I can blend multiple sources, but I have too many metrics and dimensions for the limit. Any thoughts on that?

Any idea how to do this for a multi-level org chart. Basically the higher you go in the company the more data they could see. I understand how to do an ACL for two levels worth of data, but once you start adding more levels it gets complicated.

Is it possible to create an access for manager to see all the data of their employees while employees can only the data they have access over?

Great Video thanks for this! I did just have a quick question about the dimensions limits when you blend data? I seem to only be able to have 10 dimensions but I have some data sets with between 15-20 columns. Any suggestion here? Thank you in advance. Luke

Thanks for the video.. Accomplished exactly what my mentors asked, however they think the repetition of the emails is not elegant enough of a solution.. They proposed I used an array, but I don't see how that would work in a spreadsheet.

How to give report access based on their roles? Like L1 employee sees their own data (~12000 employees), L2 employee should see their reporting L1 employees (~4000), L3 should see L1 & L2 reporting into them and so on

I have a sheet with cells with hyperlinks but the hyperlinks are named so they don't show the full hyperlink, how can I get Studio to launch these still? The only way it's launching them is if I have the exact url in the cell.

Maybe there is some sort of mismatch, like a space in email field. It could also happen if they have multiple google accounts and they could be logged in under the wrong account.

@@diyaaeldin Assuming emails are in column A, add a column in your spreadsheet =ARRAYFORMULA(LOWER(A2:A)) then use that column for email verification in datastudio.

Give them edit right and ask them to refresh data as shown at the end of this video

@Do Viet what about instant refresh if user wants to update and check the data... We cannot wait for 15 mins to see a data in datastudio.

If you can't wait 15 minutes then I'm afraid you're either going to have to build your own system for reporting or create a bot that will click on refresh button on your editor account every minute or something.
