Watching that final meteor missile chase you brought back memories of Bugs Bunny cartoons where bullets used to chase characters around.

That last meteor missile pulled a Behind Enemy Lines on you.

That meteor wasn't planning on letting it pilots defeat go in vain 🫡

The Meteor chase part was kind of scary and funny at the same time. 😂

This probably wouldn’t fit in with the normal content, but I’ve always enjoyed watching strike missions. Especially with multi role fighters that have to switch between AA and AG

Could you do a dogfight between the I-16 and the Su-57? After all, we've seen the P-51 versus F-22, so I think seeing the Russian version of that fight would be neat. Great video though, love the Felon content.

These Rafales man, they are a sweet looking jet. Loven these Delta wing jets with canards and love the meteor dude.what an amazing missile, that thing came so close to smoking you it would have made a sick video even better. Sorry champ. what a weapon. Su-57 looks amazing. I'm curious if that's what the inside looks like.

Man! That last missile busted a U like a demon outta hell in pursuit. I wonder if they can actually do that. That's nuts. Well done. Great vid as usual.

Yup, they have a throttle-able solid rocket ramjet. Although its exact performance is classified, it is said that it cruises towards its target at Mach 3.5ish and when closer throttle’s up to dash to the target at near hypersonic speeds.

Second this... but then also do a reverse the F22 and Su-57 ones with eh other pilot in them.

The faster a missile moves the less maneuverable it can be. Without larger control surfaces, there is only so much it can do at super fast speeds. You are correct that these things are tailored more for tankers and AWACS which can't turn as fast as a fighter.

The SU-57 has rear facing radar as well as IR sensors looking back and towards the sides.

and the rafale has SPECTRA and automatic systems for self defense against radars (and therefore also missiles) Hence why realistically, you can't lock on a rafale at 250km @@jagerdergroe8604

The engine powered missile vs vodka powered missile.

For a 5th gen stealth fighter with supersonic missiles like the SU-57 you had to sweat a little to win this battle 😀

The production model of the felon has upgraded avionics, radars and engines from the prototype models to my understanding. Be cool to see one of those accurately modeled in DCS.

Not only that but watch the shot when he hits the other Rafael and look at the r77 smoke trail it does the same thing where it turns super hard unnaturally at the plane it’s all rigged obviously.

This is one I asked to see, nice! Did the cheek mounted radars on the Su-57 come into play, which apparently let it start turning away and defending from an enemy while still guiding a missile with the cheek radars?

I think there was a test were a Meteor was able to shot down a plane after doing at 180° turn (the Rafale launche a Meteor against a plane that was behind him basically)

Dang I can't wait till I get into this era of airplanes. I'm still learning gen 3 planes but there is so much more out there! Far more capable than my Mirage F1!

As soon as I jump on KZread I'm always looking to see if GS has uploaded any new videos. Easily my fave content on the internet.

I would have thought that ECM on a stealth aircraft is a no no until you are close in and detected. The ECM tells everyone exactly where you are. It's like going out into the dark woods with a flash light.

Mmmm not exactly, the radar would be like a flashlight as you said, but the ECMs job is to provide false signals and returns to confuse your radar. It’s like being in the woods and seeing 100 flash lights in all directions but only 1 is real and belongs to the guy trying to kill you. (Until you burn thru the ECM and can see what it’s trying to hide)

My God, that blue/teal cockpit interior isn't easy on the eye. It's quite susceptible to lighting conditions and overexpose much.

That memory in around 3:00 was golden

There is upcoming new missile that will replace R 11-1 for Su 57 called Izdeliya 180, its range up to 180 km. Meteor also tremendous missile

Izdelie 180 is a K77-1 missle and it's range is not disclosed. Just said it is over 190+ kms and speed over 5M. The previous missle was P77-11 (not R11-1 as you said).
