I never considered using Knorr sides in the rice cooker. Good idea. I’ll try it out soon.

I’m living full time in a truck camper I built out and just ordered a Dash Rice Cooker due to its efficient use of power (Solar power only goes so far on the batteries). This looks like a great meal and I’m excited to see what else your channel cooks up!

How did your Dash Rice Cooker work out for you? Are you still living in your truck camper?

Worked out great! I always found it a bit difficult to be patient as it always took a long time for the rice to cook for me, but it worked out well from a power consumption standpoint

It's great and it is what it is. The trouble with a lot of people they are looking for something that does what it is not meant to do. For example if you want some really good fluffy Basmati rice use the pasta method. But for things like you are cooking a small electric rice cooker is ideal.

This looks brilliant! Now I’m almost 100% sure that my microwave rice would also work in this kind of gadget.

Counter cooking, I have a kitchen with a stove, but what a great idea for a KZread channel. Also, thanks for the video. The last Knorr package I made was done on my stove. The rice cooker reciepe looks much easier.

My gas/electric bill has gone down by about 30% since switching to mostly using cooking appliances. I think they work more efficiently. Yes, very easy in a rice cooker.

I agree about the electric going down when not using your stove. I never realized how much until my youngest went to college and I didn’t want to cook. 🤣 wow what a difference. So I can see how using those small appliance would be much more efficient to use.

I just bought one of those, the Power Rice Blend. I was surprised how good it really tasted. Thanks I'll have to try in my DASH rice cooker now.

The rice cooker will stop cooking when it is done! For her it took 35 minutes
