Daryl Hall & John Oates - Out of Touch | Reaction!
Thanks to the Toronto Maple Leafs, I know who Daryl Hall and John Oates are. They're the best-selling duo in music history. They were masters at creating pop magic. This track here is no exception. Hall's light, pretty voice, and Oates' synth skills compliment each other so well. I thought this was going to be a real breakup song, but it doesn't seem to be. It sounds like there's still a spark.

There is nothing like being at a dive bar and queuing up some Hall and Oates. There is almost always crowd participation. I have so many dear memories attached to this particular release. I bought this album in Iowa while I was there for work, and I remember listening to this while driving in a blizzard to the middle of nowhere, Ohio. I also have a lot of memories at my favorite bar that burned down. I've had so much fun listening to Hall and Oates. And of course you're allowed to say his, or any voice is sexy! Some voices are just undeniably sexy (i.e. Jarvis Cocker)! 😂

They hate one another! Lol. They were considered such 80s cheese, but I love them! They're very critically underrated.
I sometimes wonder where you must've been for all your life, Nick, to not have heard some of these tracks, then I realise you're about 25 years younger than me😢.
