    The sneering, aggressive play-by-play is everything...so funny. Yet, I feel like I'm back at juco practice 48 years ago when the coach was ripping us a new one after a bad game.

    I keep on saying that Austin is the true weak link in the defense and not DLo. DLo's IQ on positioning is good enough that Chris Finch used to assign DLo as a roamer on defense similar to what Draymond Green does in the GSW defense

  • @manmo0808

    @manmo0808

    @@MKIVD agree. Austin is clearly the weak link. Lakers fans don’t seem to want to criticize him the way the do DLo or any of the other guys b/c there is this irrational love for Reaves. And I’m afraid his market value will just get lower, if those rumors about the Hawks willing to trade Murray for Austin were true, and the Lakers refused, that is a huge blunder.

    The Lakers don't even get to phase 2 of a defensive breakdown before the other team just scores. Most other teams kind of respond to the first breakdown and lose to the second. Then you suggest a third counter. They don't even get there. Darvin Ham's defensive gameplans are shocking stuff.

    Gotta understand the best defensive pieces the lakers have are out lmao that’s probably why

  • @randylahey8207

    @randylahey8207

    3 ай бұрын

    @@zkupnext_9294the reason he can keep making five videos a day is because defense is about effort, positioning and communication. Things every player at this level should be able to do, especially if you're a marginal player trying to stay on a team or earn minutes. Go watch the Celtics second team filled with slower, shorter, and older guys (Pritchard, Kornet, Hauser, Horford) and tell me otherwise. They talk, they move, they stay within the defensive framework and force the other team often to phase 3 and are STILL in position putting them up against the shot clock and forcing bad looks. Plus they box out and rebound as a team. Pritchard in particular is very undersized with almost zero upps, but consistently gets a few boards a game just with effort, timing and positioning. And that's as the number one team in the league with a six game lead on everyone for home court throughout, so they can afford to be lax and lose a couple. The Lakers aren't even guaranteed to be in the play in, so they should already be playing playoff intensity basketball. They're not, and that's leadership. That's on the coach, and to be frank, it's really on LeBron. We all know who's in charge there, and that's how the team responds. Does anyone think MJ wouldn't be fighting his teammates long before this level of effort showed its face? That's why he's the best, and LeBron can never touch him...

  • @BLee09

This dude says the same 💩 over and over has only taken accountability once last year when he referred to himself as the dumb coach who finally ran plays for AD. He's terrible and should never have been hired in the first place, I think he's as bad as Boylen and Beilen were for the Bulls and Cavs respectively.
