Amazing Darts. Saw them in Gt Yarmouth (Tiffany's Ballroom) in 1978. They had had a hit with "Daddy Cool" and were touring to promote their follow-up single "Come Back My Love". Griff wrote "Sometime Lately" which is a fab R+R Ballad. Should be a standard. Had they been around 20 years sooner they would have been worldwide stars I think. Certainly up there with Dion and the Belmonts..

Saw darts at manchesters belle view,kings hall in 1974,they were warm up act for the great Jerry lee Lewis,where a night of teddy boy madness ensued,cracking night out😎

I've always like do-wap,and I enjoyed this when it came out, but over almost five decades later, seeing and hearing his again has made me aware that I'd been unaware of how slick and polished a vocal and instrumental act they actually were-especially when compared to the shit acts that made it big in the early to mid 70s. I wonder what happened to them?
