I too found the Drukhari / Dark Eldar Mandrakes to be the more interesting side of this set, both in terms of background and rules. The terrain piece is quite cool too.

I was wondering how big the new Chaos Space Marinesare? Are the Night Lords upscaled like modern space marines? Or are they more Primaris sized? I am a bit confused on the scale of CSM and Loyalist Marines with Primaris and now the all the new terminators.

They're a little smaller than Primaris marines.

It was indeed. GW was inspired so much by those early comics - but all of scifi and fantasy was up for grabs as they created their own stuff, understandably.

Was one of the lucky few to get my hands on this one. The marines are a bit too icky for my tastes, but I really dig the sneaky-sneaky elves. Looking forward to painting them up.

Stopped buying, but still watching (& commenting if I don't just watch on the TV). It's starting to feel like Warcry & maybe even Kill Team are on the way out? I have plenty, so unworried. Nice to enjoy my coffee with you Peter.

Glad you're still watching (remember it's not just about GW here). Anyway, I saw some KZreadr (probably a few of them) made totally uninformed speculative videos and got tens of thousands of hits again. There's no evidence at all that they're on the way out, and if they are, does it make any difference? It's not like we all need a certain number of Warcry and Kill Team squads to complete a collection. 🤣 As you say, we have plenty!

I always watch, but sometimes I use the TV and it doesn't allow me to comment as I prefer not to sign in on it. I'm only really buying the odd Necromunda item now (vehicles etc.) as my house (and by that I mean all my IKEA Kallaxes) are full!

I'm with you. I like a lot of things about 40K but often it's just too grimdark for its own good. Hard pass on this set for me.

Oh I just laugh at that stuff, it's all rather silly. I wish there was more humour, but I find it very easy to inject my own when we play GW games. What worries me is that some people take it all too seriously!
