Darklord Despia - *New* Horus and S:P Little Knight | Decklist Testing | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

My initial test run of using the newly released Horus archetype and staple tech card S:P Little Knight. The arrival of these cards help add more versatility to the Darklord Despia variants by creating more options and alternative ways to do combo lines. S:P Little Knight is just a great all-around Link addition for setting up disruption along with I:P Masquerena which make opponents have to feel the need to deal with them first. Although, the main focus of this deck is the Level 8 synergy between the Horus engine and most of the Darklord and Despia monsters for easily making Rank 8 XYZ monsters, as well as, helping mill and discard cards to the graveyard. While the Horus engine does lower consistency of starting with Dark Fairy monsters for our First Darklord set-up and plays; it does make up for it through the combo line of making Zombie Vampire with them to mill cards to the graveyard which could potentially generating advantage and special summon a milled Darklord monster to extend plays. If all else fails, the Horus cards alone can handle their own as they have powerful effects that can potentially produce card and resource advantage to keep you in the duel for another turn. There are downsides to this of course with what I feel it being more of high risk but high reward deck as there are higher chances for it to potentially brick and since the Horus engine revolves around Kings Sarcophagus, it can be very fragile to disruption if they get rid of it.
Replays are not all necessarily top tier highlights but just my own showcase and experience of wins using this decklist and what decks I've encountered/faced-off against during the current meta season in ranked ladder duels and events

This is funny. My wife asked where I got the idea for Darklord Purrelys from, and I told her about this channel. And this morning I literally said 'watch next video will be Horus Darklords' 😂

Such a cool deck. The deck list has the most DL cards I've seen in a while, when was the last time you saw a Nergal summoned? Forever ago! Remember to do the survey and mention a Darklord Ixchel mate somewhere!

I have been trying to incorporate more Darklord cards into my builds (even if it makes them worse lol) I actually turned on that settings report that shows percentages of times a monster is summoned/used and think the highest I saw a Darklord card has is like 0.005% Very true! An Ixchel mate would be 🔥🔥🔥

Another funny idee i tried is my Darklord/ Despia/ Dogmatik. I run 50cards right now and the goal is to summon the first darklord first and finish the board with Alba Zoa to cut the opponents extra deck😊 Its hard to bring both at the same turn on the board but if you have the perfect hand it looks really cool with the two 4k beatsticks^^

They are about the same power level; I think it is more about preference. The Horus cards put up a better/stronger board of high attack monster to help OTK but more fragile once they get rid of Kings Sarcophagus. I feel like Purrely version can be all-around stronger cause of their fairy synergy
Is this deck better than the purrely version for the ladder? I’m triying to build a good dark lord deck that can get me to master

They are about the same power level...the only Darklord deck that I have seen get to Master so far is still Branded Darklord, but it relies a lot more on the Branded cards

Yes you could probably take out Spright Elf or Black Luster Soldier of Chaos for it👍

I saw Darkloard. I clicked. Horus really bust. The deck brick af. Here Horus can fix it. Never tought about build god deck until Horus come. All dead cards in hand can be use as cost for Horus card. Now you can fight back instead of eat lose when you hand brick. It's too good. Now I fear it will be guts like Ishizu cards.

Horus does produce a lot of crazy strategies; I wouldn't doubt they do something like limit Sarcophagus to 1 if it gets out of hand
