This one is absolutely brilliant. I forgot Wright made Pan. When I think of him I still think of Atonement and Hanna. He's a great filmmaker. We all have missteps from time to time.

2:11 I felt bad for him when he started talking about Pan.

intrepidmolasses I don’t think Clementine was Indian in anyway even though her lineage has been debated, I don’t think there’s any suggestion towards that direction.

I think he is refering to Joe Wright's wife, Anushka Shankar, the Sitarist, who is indian.

Hanna is his best film, also he had the best episode of Black Mirror. Visionary Director, a bit boring but good filmmaker.

No its not that he disagrees with the kindness but Blade Runner 2049 is a film that shows a world that has collapsed and lacks kindness (with the exception of Goslings final act). He was just listening.

Poor Denis, you could tell when Joe and the others were discussing failure, he was slightly depressed about his movie bombing.

That's the public's fault more so then his, cause it's a masterpiece. He shouldn't be ashamed of that film, it honours the original and should be seen more love by the award season imo.
