If you would 2 handed your black knight sword you could get the back tail cut since you did just to low damage but thats a weapon for mages anyway that only dealt magic damage "Moonlight greatsword" which stats required you 16 str 10 dex and 28 int.

The covenant from the coffin is for the boss of catacombs. If you join the covenant before fighting him you get his greatsword. You can leave the covenant after and still keep the sword, but if you kill him youll have to wait till ng+. Also idk if you were there yet, but theres another area in the swamp on the opposite side of quelaag’s entrance. You have to climb a root surrounded by slugs. This also has a secret covenant who’s leader you can cut off the tail for a really powerful greatsword and theyre just totally chill with it

Pinwheel is actually a medium size boss. For your level easy, but it could be done at the beginning to kindle the bonfires from the scratch. Which is a great help for the entire game ahead. But you got there at last so.. yes easy peasy.

Easiest build in ever souls game is dex based, with a 90% or higher physical damage reduction shield….followed by a mage/ranged build. Str build is the hardest build.
